Job Description: -
• Designed structures to withstand pressures and forces which they have to endure, these structures included climbing frame to the tallest building.
• Liaising with other designers, including architects, to reach agreement about safe designs and to ensure they fit in with the aesthetic concept of the construction.
• Applied expert knowledge of the forces that act on various structures.
• Considered the strength of diferent materials, e.g. concrete, steel, or wood to observe how their inclusion may necessitate a change of structural design.
• Analyzing suitable configurations of the basic structural components of a building or other structure.
