~ Key Responsibilities ~
• Responsible for the comprehensive maintenance of (Bapco Upstream) network as per the awarded contract. This includes managing all network-related emergency calls, formulating pricing and proposals, overseeing daily activity reports, implementing optimization techniques, driving the realization of benefits, guiding the overall vision of maintenance and construction projects, leading and delivering architectural perspectives, technology roadmaps and strategies, managing large-scale programs and ensuring the reliability, security and efficiency of communication systems.
• Accountable to oversee the execution of projects and the delivery of activities associated with the deployment of the Outside Plant (OSP) & Inside Plant (ISP) network.
• Managing a team responsible for responding to emergency calls in the field during network outages.
• Oversee the compilation of daily activity reports and ensure the completion of reports related to link and site surveys.
• Implement optimization techniques, perform regular audits and evaluations, develop and put into action disaster recovery strategies, provide technical support and issue resolution, maintain accurate documentation and stay current with the latest advancements in communication technologies.
• Manage a projects overall vision by aiding in project planning, ensuring project execution and successful delivery. Over the course of the projects lifecycle, take charge of providing architectural insights, defining technology roadmaps and strategies. Create and monitor project deliverables, which encompass the project charter, timeline, status reports, communication strategies, issue resolution, risk mitigation as well as milestone & deliverable charts
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and client teams to foresee business requirements and suggest effective technology solutions to meet those needs while supporting essential development tasks
• Supervising subcontractors, skilled craft employees and other laborers, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and construction codes. Oversee quality control and the inspection of finished tasks while providing guidance, coaching, and training to the workforce.
• In charge of the annual forecasting and control of project capital expenditures (Capex) and project operational expenditures (Opex).
• Develop a comprehensive maintenance plan for the Wireless Radio, Copper and Fiber network infrastructure across various Communications sites like WELLPAD, GDN, RCS, CDS, Lateral, Gas Station, Well manifolds, Beam Pumps, Khuff Gas Wells, Choke Wells, Clusters and Sub stations.
• Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of construction vendors to expedite the construction, mobilization of material, splicing and testing of Outside Plant (OSP) & Inside Plant (ISP) facilities, FTTH, Radio (PTP & PTMP) and other transactional projects.
• To manage operational tasks as per SLA

Projects Undertaken:-
• Worked with different vendor to implement Visitor Management System in OQ (Orpic) which include integration with Sohar free zone access system as well as lenel access Control system, further software was integrated with OQ Honeywell Access Control System, Service Provider SMS Gateway, OQ Wi-Fi Integration, Barcode System, Kiosk & Hand handle device
• PDO Logistic CCTV Site Survey Project : Project involves generating a survey report by utilizing information gathered from the on-site inspection team and visiting key PDO logistic sites throughout Oman. This comprehensive report encompasses a BOQ for the CCTV installation and AutoCAD drawings that provide a detailed overview of camera placement and perspectives.
• AI based Facial Recognition (FR) solution for the Occidental HQ Building: This project encompassed configuring and installing cameras, screens, access controllers and servers. we established an AI-powered server that utilized standard cameras to identify faces for access to the premises. Furthermore, this system was integrated with Tyco AC2000 software, OXY HRMS and the Attendance system, along with other reporting systems.
• Air product Wi-Fi Project: We executed a comprehensive networking project across various locations in Oman for Air Product's Gas Company. This project involved several key components including conducting Wi-Fi surveys, Wi-Fi installations, structured cabling, racking and stacking devices, configuring switches and access points, labelling, installing a CCTV system, laying and terminating Fiber and CAT6 cables and culminating in testing and sharing documentation such as As-Built, Test Reports like Copper & OTDR report etc.
• Dalilee Networking Project: This project encompasses the installation, commissioning and termination of network points, network switches, Avaya IP Telephony systems and Wi-Fi access points throughout the entire building.
• OPAZ CCTV & Access Control Project: Installation and commissioning of indoor and outdoor CCTV surveillance, in addition to implementing an Access Control System at the OPAZ facilities located in Seeb and DUQM.

Completing and commencing of Project: Credit-Suisse (Airoli) with virtual cloud-based environment for 350+ users. Set up include devices like Citrix (Thin Client), Network, Avaya IP Phones, Desktops and Video Conferencing Kit.
Installed, patched and configured 320+ Switches, 20+ Routers, 1000+ Aps and 10, 000+ Patch Cords.
Increased agent productivity by more than 444% with a 212% decrease in the number of dropped calls. Connectivity and Service improved by 112%.

Handling Avaya voice portal using Avaya Site Administrator software for IP and Polycom Phones.
Configuring, Maintaining, Installing and Monitoring Avaya main CM, LSP, DS1 cards, Gateways, Avaya 9608 IP phone, Avaya S8300 & AES server.
Maintaining records of Avaya extensions and Creation of extension on request from users, assigning Hotline Number, bridging user extension to assigned groups, also assigning password and changing the same for voice mail as well as Avaya extension.

IT Support related Task:-
Logging cases via the ticketing system BMC REMEMDY or SNOW tool for issues reported by user and troubleshooting that issue as a FCR engineer. If required involving Support team to check and close that issue.
Troubleshooting the problem faced in Citrix login, OS, Thin Client and smart card.
Performing on-site analysis, diagnosis and resolution of complex desktop/system problems for end-users and recommend by implementing corrective solutions including off-site repair for remote users as needed.
