•To verify the activities of Civil & Structural Discipline.
•Responsible for ensuring by inspection and verification that Civil & Structural works are performed in accordance with the Project requirements.
•To co-ordinate and provide expertise to ensure that the plant is built and will function in accordance with the Project requirements
•Checking / review of all design drawings, review and comments of all structural shop drawings, standards, project technical, specifications, Base design packages, submittal of material, prequalification approval etc., Conducting inspections, preparation of all civil structural and architectural inspections and review of previous inspection reports of Supervision of construction activities at site. Co-ordinate with all discipline. Preparation of repair procedures & scope of work. Recommendations for the appropriate material to be used at site
•To monitor and inspect the construction and to ensure that it is done in accordance to the plan and specification.
•The Job involves, prepare and establish QA/QC Plan for the project. Develop and maintain QA/QC Procedure, Approving Method of Statements and Inspection Test Plan.
•Receiving RFI for Inspected Items and conducting inspection as per ITP. Perform Inspection / Testing and records result of inspection. Coordinate with the Independent Testing Laboratory in performing necessary tests and review all the tests result.
•Implement and maintain a filing system for all QC documentation, reports directly to section manager. Propose corrective action and preventive measures for any non-conforming items. Attend progress, coordination and QA/QC meetings
•Ensure that adequate Inspection and Test Plan(ITP) for Civil, Structural & Painting works are developed by the Sub contractor
•Inspect Material received on site and ensure it is in ordinance with contract specification, handle and stored properly. Conduct off-site inspection for specific materials and plant visit.
•Attending progress meetings and submitting detail report of the project to the Project Manager, and also discussing the critical issues with the Manager.
•Inspection of Driven Piles & Monitoring the Piles Driving.
•Concrete test & Rebar Inspection for the Piles
•Witnessing the inspection of Static Compressive Pile Load test and Lateral Pile load test for the driven piles.
•Inspection of excavation, compaction, and Field Density Test (FDT)
Prior to lean concrete work. Inspection of Form and Reinforcement work for footings and foundation prior to concrete and giving clearance for concrete work. Monitoring the concrete pouring work including air content test, slump test and temperature of concrete and also ensure that enough number of vibrators are used for concrete work.


Responsibilities (TURN OVER ENGINEER)

•To Prepare the MC Notice to PMT & Owner for the Walk Down
•To Prepare the MC Dossiers for Each Sub-System
•Follow up with the QVD’S and Arrange it in to the MC Dossiers
•Update the MC Punches and follow up with the Close out of Punches
•Co-Ordinate with Construction to arrange the Construction Completion & Mechanical Completion Walk Down
