▪ Responsible for ensuring job descriptions are available, updated and prepared for all the job positions.
▪ Provide advice and support when conducting staff performance evaluations.
▪ Responsible for providing support in Organizing staff training sessions.
▪ Provide advice and support in developing human resource plans.

▪ Ensuring the smooth running of the assessment process such as ensuring the assessment panel and facilitators are confirmed, tests have been prepared in advance and appropriate rooms have been booked.
▪ To assist the managers in developing job descriptions, preparing advertisements, checking application forms and short listing, interviewing and selecting candidates. Support managers on effective and selection approaches.
▪ To be involved on the assessment panel where appropriate and to advise candidates of outcome after assessments.
▪ To ensure that details of vacancies are circulated appropriately and to oversee the recruitment section of the Society’s website to ensure that current vacancies are showcased appropriately.
▪ To coordinate and deal with the recruitment and selection administration required by HR policies relating to the appointment of new employees.
▪ Responsible for management of pre-employment checks, such as obtaining occupational health, reference and CRB clearance ensuring that these are fully carried out and completed in a timely manner prior to employment commencing.
▪ Ensure that new employees receive all relevant starter documentation and that conditional offers are prepared and contracts of employment are signed and issued.
▪ Ensure that new employee’s personal file are created and that all new employee details are accurately set up as per the company policy.
▪ Ensuring all essential employee personal information is in place in time for the Payroll cut-off date each month.
▪ Participate in HR Recruitment group discussions to ensure that best practice of recruitment and placement of staff are used witin the organisation.
▪ Prepare and provide references for employees who are/have left our employment.
▪ Follow-up with line Managers with all Probation Reviews and to ensure that all probation reviews are completed within agreed timescales.
▪ Assist in training and coaching new managers on recruitment and selection processes.
▪ Draft, design and publish the job postings for all the open positions.
▪ To liaise with external advertising agencies as and when required.
▪ Support managers in drafting job descriptions and candidate specifications, providing templates and advice as required
▪ Coordinate the process of vacancy approval via the hiring requisition form, ensuring the correct information is obtained in a timely manner and that managers are kept well informed.
▪ Responsible for the coordination of interview/selection logistics including room bookings, scheduling and preparation of relevant materials.
▪ Provide the highest levels of support and information to hiring managers throughout the processed including specific information on advertising, pre-selection tools and techniques and recruitment timescales
▪ First point of contact for candidates, creating a positive first impression and ensuring that all requests for recruitment packs and other general queries are responded to swiftly and professionally.
▪ Coordinate the short listing process, ensuring the hiring manager and selection panel have all required documentation, providing assistance and advice as necessary.
▪ To manage the diary of the Head of HR and organise meetings and travel itineraries.
▪ Assist the HR Manager with projects and case work as necessary
▪ Attend and produce minutes when required for relevant meetings and hearings, ensuring high levels of accuracy at all times.
▪ Assist the HR/Payroll Administrator in processing paperwork and inputting information onto payroll.
