Design, implementation, support, monitoring and maintenance of Magnolia Head Quarter and other sites infrastructure and services, including but not limited to server and storage hardware, LAN and WAN services, telephony services, signage system, CCTV etc.
Design, implementation, support, monitoring and maintenance of infrastructure software platforms, including but not limited to server / client operating systems, messaging and database services, reporting platforms, Hyper V, VPN, web proxies and all other software based systems.
Develop operational, installation, configuration and upgrade documentation for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage, software and other computer related systems. Serve as a liaison between other technical staff, management, users, and vendors regarding service requests, usage, standards, security, and other technical matters.
Provides on site or remote access diagnoses and resolution of computer hardware and software problems, Provide subject matter expertise, advice and consultancy for assigned technology and infrastructure systems. Evaluates infrastructure services equipment and software for purchase.
Recommends new configurations, provides training or arranges for vendor training for system users. Develops cost estimates and makes recommendations for systems development and upgrades to existing systems. Collaborate on, or lead IT based infrastructure projects through to successful implementation and hand over to operational support. Server patching/preventative maintenance on all systems.
To take part in the 24/7 On-Call rota.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for technical maintenance of all the server hardware and the operating system platform.
• Responsible for implementing, monitoring and controlling information security policies. Assist Systems Manager in developing the information security policies of the company.
• Responsible for IT aspect of business continuity and disaster recovery
• Responsible for backup and restore strategy.
• Responsible for systems integration as and when required.
• To develop and implement data backup and restore policies.
• To monitor and control systems performance.
• To recommend latest technology on improving the performance of IT operations
• To carry out technology implementation and rollouts
• Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
• Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers.
• Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together.Troubleshoot problems reported by users.Make recommendations for future upgrades.

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and the hotels.
• ERP Softwares (Prologics), PABX Softwares, Microsoft Servers, Exchange Server.
• Communicate with clients and discuss and understand there requirement design, develop and implement.
• Operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information system.
• Control the computer systems & network securities.
2. Ensure technology is accessible and equipped current hardware and software.

3. Monitor and maintain technology to ensure maximum access
Main Activities
• Troubleshoot all technology issues.
• Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance.
• Make recommendations about purchase of technology resources.
• Research current and potential resources and services.
• Install work stations.
• Connect and set up hardware.
• Load all required software.
• Monitor security of all technology.
• Install and maintain individual user ID and passwords.
• Input and maintain IP addresses details.
• Advise staff of security breach and/or change in password or security status.
• Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate.
• Ensure hardware is tripped and secured before disposal.
4. Perform other related duties as required during working hours.
