In the area of donor relations, manages and contacts with donor (EU Embassy) to increase
knowledge and understanding of the WASH intervention in Azraq camp, and build
support for this work.
Build and maintain positive and harmonious relationships with MOPIC, MOSDA, and
WAJ and any other relevant governmental body.
Assist field programs in building and maintaining good relationships with local
governmental bodies and any other influential partners.
Ensure programmatic rationales are in line with GOJ regulations.
Organize workshops and forms of engagement with GOJ for programmatic purposes and
on all levels.
Implementation of Solid Waste Management (SWM) project with recycling and CFW
components followed as per the proper SOPs.
Delivery of advisory services in Solid Waste Management (SWM) solutions
development, procurement and financing.
Technical guidance and support to partners on all WASH-related issues to ensure quality,
cost-effectiveness, sustainability and environmental sound WASH interventions.
Liaise with implementing partners, operating partners and relevant governmental and nongovernmental
counterparts.
Review regularly the quantity and quality of water and sanitation services offered in the
Area of Responsibility (AoR) and maintain the records of WASH performance indicators
for all locations.
Support the review of performance, undertake field verifications, monitor development and
support the evaluation of activities and approaches adopted by partners in WASH and
related sectors, reporting the results to the supervisor for sharing with other technical units.
Promote community involvement and participation in all the different stages of the WASH
project cycle.
Provide timely inputs to ensure that regular and accurate reports that analyse the challenges
encountered in providing WASH services for beneficiaries are prepared and circulated.
Participate in the preparation of all reports for management, boards, donors, budget
reviews, programme analysis, monthly, annual reports etc. in a timely manner.
Manage the supply and installation works for private latrines at household level project in
Azraq camp that cover the vulnerable cases including PDWs, elderly Person and Serious
Medical Conditions.
Participate in WASH sector, infrastructure coordination, camp coordination and crosscutting
sector meetings e.g. health, environment, as required by the supervisor.
Compile documents and reports related to WASH activities and construction under the
AoR.

Provide project management support for UNHCR WASH activities employing typical PM
tools for design control, procurement, implementation and monitoring, and contract
administration including evaluations to support progress certificates.
Promote and participate in the establishment of a complaint mechanism/system to improve
the WASH accountability toward refugees; report all issues, communications and
resolutions employed.
Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans, to ensure corporate sustainable
development.
Develop and recommend solutions to eliminate pollution and environmental hazards.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the implementation of maintenance activities in the camp, including regular maintenance requests at camp level, caravan repairs, strong coordination with UNHCR technical and filed units, and other shelter actors in the camp and prepare weekly/monthly plans and follow up as required with the team.
• Jointly with technical staff of implementing partners and other WASH actors, update detailed needs and resource assessments and revise designs of technical plans as necessary, taking into account practical aspects of implementation, long-term sustainable solutions, and relevant technical specifications and guidelines.
• Lead the delivery of WASH services for refugees to meet the UNHCR standards.
• Track Budget and follow up with procurement, on monthly basis to check and track expenditure and actively solve pending issues.
• Coordinate Purchase requisition planning and coordinate with procurement department.
• Prepare the payment for the cash for work staff on monthly basis.
• Reports and follow up with teams, by generating monthly/periodic progress reports to the project manager, coordinate with the reporting officer to ensure information is adequate and well organized.
• Monitor and manage expenditure and budgets.
• Contribute to the preparation of proposal. This includes background, stakeholder analysis, data collection & analysis, development of budget and all associated documents to a high standard in accordance with donor requirements.
• Stock and inventory management, by maintaining updated stock reports, and following NRC logistic handbook as the tools for the stock management.
• To prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for complete tender scope.
• Develop the overall framework, for project M&E, for example mid-term project review, impact assessment, final evaluation, develop project Performance Monitoring Plan with relevant data collection systems.
• Approval of construction site organization plan and engineering supervision and inspection of the works, that includes follow-up the Contractors work and permanent control of the quality and progress of the work.
• Prepare and develop status reports as required by my line Manager.
• Ensure proper filing of documents.
• Proven success in designing, implementing, and operating project M&E systems from project initiation to closeout stages.
• Experience with data quality assessments and oversight.
• Finite elements modeling of high-rise building using ETABS, interpretation of the analysis for the serviceability limit state and ultimate limit state (SLS&ULS).
• Perform design of vertical elements using in-house design software (BSD), use engineering principles to assure an optimum design.
• Preparation of Bill of Quantity (BOQ), submission of quotation, making bills for sub-contractors and taking off the quantities from drawings Construction and Infrastructure.
1-Prepare AutoCAD Drawings (Drafting and Detailing) for high rise buildings in Abu-Dhabi.

6-Develop and execute tools and methodologies to enable effective implementation of logistic plans.
7-Designing sewer improvement plans or flood defense programs, and associated structures, such as pumping stations and pipework.
