Responsible for providing system administration for desktops and users in classified areas
working as a member of a system administration team.
* Conducts initial system installations, system re-imaging, data recovery, hardware diagnostic
testing, and network printer setup.
* Primary customer interaction resolving immediate support issues for the engineering community
via help desk systems and task assignment.

* Ensure all information systems (IS) are operated, maintained and disposed of in accordance with
established security policies and practices IAW JAFAN 6/0, JAFAN 6/3 and the System Security
Plan at the assigned unit.
* Ensure configuration management (CM) for security-relevant IS software, hardware, and
firmware is maintained and documented.
* Conduct audits of all IS to ensure compliance with established policies and directives.
* Ensure that system recovery processes are monitored to ensure that security features and
procedures are properly restored.
* Ensure all IS security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized
individuals.
* Ensure 100% control of all media within assigned unit SAPFs.
