Positions: Senior Manager, Project Control-Emaar
Role:
• Directs the overall construction management, organization, and operations of all projects and related construction activities for the Projects Department.
• Provides direct input for proposals, strategic plans, presentations and contract negotiations.
• Ensure effective planning and control of projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, quality standards, regulation, and timely application of permits from government and regulatory authorities
• Working in partnership with the Contractor, developing a spirit of mutual trust and cooperation and ensuring through the appointed Engineer that site supervision, construction works and procurement are undertaken to the required designs, specifications, standards and OHS requirements.
• Ensure that Consultants and Contractors perform their duties and services in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Contracts, in order to ensure completion within the specified time frame, costs and specifications, in accordance with Emaar strategic objective of achieving an unrivalled image for excellence.
• Identifying problematic design issues and make recommendations to Emaar Development Department that support construction procedures as well as ensuring the construction schedule is maintained.
• Analyzing shortlisted main contractors before award, as well as scrutinizing technically and commercially all provisional sum proposals.
• Develop the department’s budget in coordination with Finance and monitor performance against budget.
