Mathematics subject teacher for grades 8, 9, 10, and 12, as well as Mathematics Literacy for grade 11. Prepare and present lessons to learners, regularly assess progress of learners and coordinate with other mathematics teachers to plan formal assessment of the learners. Maintaining class administration to keep the class and school running in order.
Ran a Fighting games community culture club at the school, to showcase and bring awareness of the E-Sports scene of South Africa and the rest of the world and show how it can possibly be a viable career path.
Mathematics subject teacher to five different grade 8 classes, English and Technology subject teacher to two grade 8 classes, each averaging at around 40 learners per class. Present lessons to learners, regularly assess learners progress through informal assessments and providing remediation for learners that require it. Coordinate with other mathematics teachers to create assessments for learners.
Did observation training at 3 different schools over 3 years where I observed the activities and duties of teachers in order to gain experience and practical knowledge. I then did Practical teaching and classes at these schools later in the year in order to apply the knowledge gained at classes as well as from observations. This is done as a practical assignment for my major subject, Practical Learning.
