The project entitled “Obtain Currency Exchange from Fixer” is an interface that is used fixer
daily currency exchange rates for different applications at a predefined interval to calculate the
invoice amounts in Euro values as per the requirement of Client Systems. Client is a Multi-National
company which has businesses all around the world. In this project, we used Fixer.io as the Web
Service. It retrieves the current and historical foreign exchange rates published by the European
Central Bank. The Client System will invoke the Fixer.io Web Service to retrieve the data. We are using
Middleware so that the data can be integrated for further transformation and routing to the
target(DB, Email).
