● Operate, Maintain and supervise the STC Fixed Access network by doing 24x7 shift-based Operations to achieve and enhance service stability, network performance, availability and Customer satisfaction.
● Solving Trouble Tickets in RTTS related to Access Technologies including GPON, MSAN, DSLAM, VDSL and RAN Nodes in STC Fixed Access Network.
● Analyze the fault, fault localization and troubleshooting.
● Identify the fault root cause at Layer 1 Physical Layer or Layer 2 Data link layer or Layer 3 Network layer and troubleshoot on fault occurring layer devices to solve the fault.
● Continuous and effective coordination with other teams including Transmission NOC, Data NOC, Video NOC, Switching NOC, Enterprise NOC, Power NOC and Field maintenance team for trouble tickets troubleshooting and solution
● EBU(enterprise Business Unit) and HBU(Home Business Unit) services testing in STC R&D lab and prepare test reports and design documents at end of testing
● Working for the issues of DSL like slow browsing, No browsing, No dial tone etc.
● Giving support for software up gradations and cutover issues.
● Performing various IPTV configurations and testing the parameters.
● Knows about all parameters of IPTV and DSL.
● Have Experience in working in all shifts (Morning, evening and Night).
● Have thorough knowledge of fibers and OSP testing.
● Have basic trouble-shooting knowledge for Cisco networks also.
● Also good knowledge in fiber and copper Equipment.
• Giving instructions to team and co-ordinate with the team to prepare the site.
• Looking through all aspects of work in the project.
• Making a clear cut plan for meeting the project requirements.
• Arranging the team as per the needs.
• Communicating with project managers and Program managers.
● Performing End to End testing by giving loop and break in the system and from the SDH side.
● Doing the cut over for both mobily and STC sites for microwave, which include shift of E1 from old microwave to new one.
● MSAN ONU UA5000 commissioning and troubleshooting.
● Doing the swapping of 3G BTS from Ericson to Huawei.
● GPON OLT(MA5600T) & ONT(HG850) testing in STC R&D lab for FTTH project.
● DSLAM Products configuration and commissioning smartAx MA5600/MA5300/MA5100
● Have a strong knowledge in optical transmission.
● Commissioning Fixed network ( MSAN, NGN, DSLAM & VDSL) project
● Tracking the scope of Fixed network (MSAN, NGN, DSLAM & VDSL)
