Handling the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of the complete branch network, which
includes OS/2 Server, Gateway, File & Print Server (WIN 2K), Printers (HP Laser Jet & IBM printers) and
Win-7 & XP workstations (140+nodes) along with their applications to ensure maximum uptime.
Supervising the different vendors taking care of Telephony and WAN, etc.
Administering various rollouts related to Software, Virus removal tools, Patches and hot fixes
installation, Antivirus Update, Backup and Outlook 2010 Client support.
Updating and managing PC - OS Patches, Antivirus Pattern Update, etc. Physical technical support for
IBM & Dell Desktops, Laptops, LAN & Printer related problems.
Holding escalations of calls and tracking the call to closure.
Managing upcountry support team for call closing, inventory, different status reviews and generation of
Consolidated report on those.
Maintaining & following the established best practices, recovery tools, trouble shooting procedures to
resolve incidents, problems and change requests in the upcountry region.
Helpdesk - attain calls and resolve problems
Manage server, network and software’s
Performance Monitoring, Support/Problem Resolution of the Network and PC’s
Networking - Connectivity, cabling, installations of network equipments
Antivirus - Enterprises level installation and updating
Servers - Administration, patch updating, exchange and file server administration
Software - OS updating, application updating, MIS backup and restoration
Assist in the providing general technical support related to IT Matters
Hardware - Maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting & creating log for the
Management report
