• Review roles and responsibilities for all Contractors well site PERSONNEL to ensure
concurrence with their safety training matrix.
• Perform the supervisory function as directed by the Drilling Superintendent. Dealing
with and overseeing the daily operations of the drilling contractor engaged in drilling
and completion of a well
• Ensures adequate control and supervision of operations is achieved.
• Ensure optimal operations performance by constantly evaluating, analyzing and
recommending good practices and procedures.
• Responsible for the preparation of site specific HSE requirements in liaison with Drilling
Contractors HSE representative.
• Develops and issues verbal and written instructions to the contractor Tool pusher for
desired changes in operations.
• Issues instructions to service companies for work required and monitor the operations
to ensure compliance and all hazards are adequately identified and controlled.
• Attend pre-tour and pre-job safety meetings to ensure that safety is being nurtured and
followed.
• In conjunction with the Drilling Superintendent, plans for the timely arrival of required
PERSONNEL, materials, equipment and services at the wellsite.
• Inspects the drilling equipment frequently to assure that it is being maintained in
accordance with terms and conditions of the contract.
• Discusses with the contractor Tool pusher, actions required to correct problems noted
and follows up to see that corrective action is taken.
• Recommends ways to reduce cost and improve safety. Cost analysis and /or breakeven
analysis should be prepared whenever applicable.
• Participates with the Drilling Engineer and Drilling Superintendent in revising / editing
the drilling prognosis whenever necessary.
• Prepares transfer documents, receiving documents, casing and cementing reports,
cementing plug reports, casing tallies, BHAs, etc to ensure well records are accurate.
• Investigates accidents, incidents and equipment failures that occur on wellsite

• Supervised all aspects of Drilling and completion operation.
• Handling daily progress charts, look-ahead, daily cost, NPT and Bit records.
• Ensure site team members have a clear understanding about the objectives of the
operation and their roles in delivering these objectives
• Implementation of well preparation and execution of day to day operations (drilling.
Casing, cementing and logging).
• Perform normal and blind drilling with water for lateral sections when total losses
encounter.
• Prepare final well reports, cost analysis & well problems recommendations.
• Manage on-site operations safely and efficiently, lead field personnel to deliver the
business objectives, in full compliance with relevant standards, policies and
legislation
• Ensure that all operations are performed in a safe manner
• Plan ahead to determine future requirements for operational equipment and
consumables
• Execute and manage rig site operations to deliver the well objectives safely, with
minimum environmental impact and within budget.
• Well Operations performance/efficiency improvement - Engage and encourage
drilling contractor and third party service companies to offer suggestions for
increasing operational performance.

• Participate in improving project operational items.
• Participate in monthly cost monitoring with project finance.
• Serves as leader of the Halliburton (HES) Multiple Product Service Line (PSL) Well
Construction and / Completions Well Site Team.
• Serves as the champion for HES and the Customers Health, Safety and
Environmental regulations, expectations and guidelines.
• Responsible for the overall multi PSL project execution.
• Serves as the point of contact for the Customers Project Team.
• Communicates job objectives with HES personnel assigned to the job both on
location and in the District office.
• Coordinates delivery of HES and third party equipment and services to the well site.
• Verifies equipment received at the wellsite is in accordance with documented
specifications and requirements.
• Ensures that all 3rd party rental / purchase equip has current inspection and testing
documentation.
• Participates in customers pre-job execution exercises and post job (review / close
out) meetings.
• Maintains latest version of job procedures and expectations, and assures that all
HES personnel are working from the latest version.
• Evaluates PSL operational performance and applicability of technology offerings.
• Resolves all cross PSL issues with the customer prior to final invoicing and report
processing.
• Daily activity report and time plane for the operation.
• Identify and work with customer foreman on location to implement ERP (Emergency
response plan) in case of emergency.
• Finalize the post job package, lessons learned, NPT and communicate the same to
HES and customer office.

• Demonstrate Safety Leadership. Ensure that the Well Completion, Re-completion,
Workover, and Well Stimulation operation program are implemented in compliance with
Companys QHSE Policies & Regulations.
• Ensure Well Control is maintained at each step in line with Companys Operations
Standards.
• Supervise the WO Contractors and all other Service Contractor under the supervision of
Workover Supervisor.
• Supervise all rig operations as specified by the requirements of WORK Program during.
• Inform Workover Supervisor in case of any deviation in the implementation of the WORK
Program.
Apply the Management of Chance process under the supervision of Workover Supervisor.
• Participate in rig safety, pre-spud and Pre-phase meetings during night shift and report
any existing and potential deviations to Company.
• Prepare daily reports in time for the operations executed during night shift for the review
of Workover Supervisor.
• Report the failures / difficulties encountered during night operations (if any) and how they
are eliminated pointing out the lessons learnt.
• Make post job review and assessment on work performance of the WO Rig and other
service contractors.
• Ensure that all documentation and information prepared and/or obtained in the course of
operations is handled in strict confidence.
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with colleagues, thus ensuring an
efficient and professional outcome in all matters and a good working climate.
