POSITION: Technical Manager.
COMPANY: Project analysis& control system company (PROJACS).
Qatar Ministry of Culture & Sports.
PROJECT: One of mechanical designers and supervision for the 2022 world cup stadiums and sports city.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. department representative for Qatar civil defense department.
2. Management and operation all the fire system of all the sports facilities ( Ministry of Culture and sports),
3. Project manager for all projects for all upgrade Fire system in the Qatar Ministry of Culture & Sports.
4. Ministry of Culture & Sports representative for engineering and construction projects in my area of specialization.
5. Perform all design stages for HVAC& PLUMBING& FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM complied with international codes and standards.
6. Lay down conceptual and preliminary design for All PLUMBING, HVAC, and FIRE PROTECTION works layouts with full coordination with other trades Architectural, Structural, and Electrical departments.
7. Prepare tender drawings having all data necessary to implement the design including all necessary details and Schedules.
8. Prepare bill of quantities.
9. Participate in specification editing.
10. Supervision Installation, Testing commissioning for, HVAC, PLUMBING & FIRE PROTECTION WORKS and Handling Over.
11. Assist the senior resident engineer to advise the client on any potential variations to the contractor’s scope of work that may generate cost or time impact and prepare assessment as PMC.
12. Assist the senior resident engineer to review and comment contractor proposed site organization, key personnel CV’s.
13. Assist the senior resident engineer to review and monitor in timely manner the contractor’s proposed construction equipment and manpower histogram and advice of any shortage.
14. Overseas establishment of the project execution plan, health and safety plan, quality control plan and other document required from the contractor.
15. Assist the plaining engineer to prepare the monthly status reports and progress minutes of meetings.
16. Notify the senior resident engineer of any potential delays.
17. Responding to the contractor’s request for information.
18. Reviewing project contract documents and monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance.
19. Monitor and report contractor progress and all activities.
20. Assist the senior resident engineer in delivering all other obligations under the conditions of the contract.
21. Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project.
22. Review and approve contractor’s as-built drawings.
23. Direct, assist, and monitor the performance of the inspectors and surveyors as applicable.

Perform all necessary HVAC design calculations complied with international codes and standards such as American Society of Refrigerating And Air- Conditioning Engineers, Inc (ASHRAE), American Refrigeration Institute (ARI), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), Sheet Metal And Air Conditioning Contractors National Association, Inc. (SMACNA), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
