• Spearheading overall safety operations including project sites and plant turnarounds; ensuring that operations within the LNG Plant, OAG Plant, Project Work-sites, Turnarounds and all Associated Areas are carried out in accordance with the company’s health, safety & environment policies in line with ADNOC Codes of Practice (COP)

• Developing HSE objectives for the Site safety section and monitoring their implementation on a regular basis
• Performing pre-commissioning check of modifications/new installations to ensure compliance with ADGAS HSE standards / requirements
• Creating the annual operating budget; also overseeing expenditures & justified variances as well as providing advises to MHSE on the 5 year budget plans
• Ensuring implementation of:
o PTW requirements on site
o Maintenance of critical safety equipments such as Fire Fighting, Breathing Apparatus, Rescue Operation Equipment, etc.
o UAE nationals training requirements are identified and approved plans

o Different technical meetings viz. HAZOP, HAZID, PHSER, SIMOPS and SIL Studies
o Planning ADGAS Emergency / Crisis Management Exercises in line with the Incident Command System
