NPA is one of the largest organizations working in mine clearance around the world; they run in Jordan mine clearance in a project finished by 2013. As medical coordinator here are my duties:
leading all the medical work in the NPA system, organize and coordinate effective medical support for demining activities
Establishing communication and relevant emergency evacuation agreements with hospitals
Establishing all procurement and supply chain requirements prior to any new project (local, regional and global), and follow up all medical store working and fully stocked as how it should, fleet management and maintain records of all fleet movements including maintenance and services
Organize, monitoring and coordinating all first aid training in NPA, supplying all NPA vehicles with first aid equipment.
Monitor, train on safe usage of hygienic products. Control site hygiene
Coordinates outpatient clinic activities - referrals to hospitals, in areas with the possibility of helicopter evacuation, Identifiers safe landing area in close proximity to mine clearance task.
Train and assesses the designated vehicles drivers in first respond techniques and basic medical equipment use
