Duties as Project Manager
I am the project manager in the healthcare sector and all the HL7 integration projects in the company in Jordan. I manage these projects from beginning until delivery, creating all types of plans and reports to assure the project deliverables are delivered in the right time at the highest quality.
• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in
• Collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
• Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and resolve risks, issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Effectively apply our methodology and enforces project standards.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Duties as a Quality Assurance Manager:
• Manage the quality assurance and control team. The team size was about 15 of junior and senior employees.
• Spread the culture of quality in the company.
• Head of the Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG) in the company, which means I am the head of the committee responsible for process improvement in the company.
• A permanent member of the Project Management Office (PMO) in the company.
• Managed all aspects (schedules, risks, stakeholders and configurations) of CMMI Implementation in the company, which leads to the company being a CMMI level 3 certified.
• Create the policies, processes and procedures of the company in the project management, software development and organizational levels.
• Monitor the deployment of the defined processes and collect data to measure and analyze the collected data.
• Plan for future improvements in the processes in the company.
• Review and approve all process improvement suggestions.
• Review and approve all project plans and documents.
• Audit processes used in projects.
• Source of guidance and advice for project managers.
• Project manager of integration between CareWare and VistA.
