Develops the MEP plan and procedures.
Liaises with Project Manager / Director on MEP related issues to ensure project requirements are incorporated into the design, procurement and construction development processes.
Establishes testing & commissioning procedures and schedule for the timely completion and hand over of the project.
Coordinates and supervises MEP activities.
Monitors MEP works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manuals.
Continuous monitoring of work progress as per the Project time schedule.
Ensures that all works are carried out in full compliance with the safety and quality management systems.
Liaises with local authorities and ministerial agencies.
Liaises with Client/Consultant for Material & Shop Drawings Approvals.
Attends Technical meetings and Site visits.
Resolves any design or details snags. Finally attending the regular meetings to review the progress of work.
Prepares recommendations on claims approval or rejection.
During my tenure in Al Ahmadiah Aktor, I turn out to be the overall responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of a project and equipped me to managed day-to-day MEP operational aspects of the project.
In Saudi Binladin, started as a young fresh Site Engineer then eventually promoted to managerial levels through my continuous strive for learning and enthusiasm to explore different challenges. I learned effective time management and logical decision-making ability to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager in CCC, I fitted out how to plan, control and monitor the actual execution of all electrical related works of the project to ensure that it will be done in accordance with all the approved construction drawings, contract documents, specifications and all applicable standards.
