My duties: working in the wastewater treatment field including water and wastewater analysis and evaluating of several conventional wastewater treatment methods such as Constructed Wetlands (CWs) and activated sludge, As well, the supervision on construction of 2 decentralized pilot treatment plants in two Palestinian villages in Kidronnar basin within the DUPC2 project that funded by the Dutch government with a partnership between Al-Quds University and Institute for Water Education (Unesco-IHE). Also the supervision on the researches of master students related to these decentralized pilot treatment plants.
My duties: Introduce an academic advisory services to the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) through revision and evaluation of the proposals submitted by Tertiary Education Institutions seeking funding from Quality Improvement Fund (QIF) to implement projects in various scientific fields.
My duties were to examine the efficiency of heterogeneous photocatalysis processes using TiO2 towards removal of biorecalcitrant organic pollutants from water. Preparation of TiO2 coated layers over a glass substrates as an alternative approach to the traditional suspended form. All these work was performed through the project; Diffusion of nanotechnology based devices for water treatment and recycling-NANOWATT (1-B/2.1/049, Grant No.7/1997)& quot;, with financial assistance of European Union under the ENPI-CBC- MED Programme.
My duties were to prepare all standard operating procedures (SOP’s) including manufacturing working Procedures, method of analysis and all ISO procedures, as well controlling the issuing and distributing of these procedures to the related departments.
My duties were to conducting all physical and chemical analysis tests on the pharmaceutical raw materials, In-process and final products using all measurement instruments including HPLC, GC...etc.
