• Apply the project management procedures per the project stages' requirements.
• Attending weekly and monthly project meetings to negotiate with clients and contractors about project progress.
• Conducting periodical walk-thru with client and contractor to discuss timelines and deadlines.
• Participating in the meetings with stakeholders, consultants & and contractors to clarify the requirements, constraints & obstructions.
• Participating with other members to study and negotiate the submitted change orders & study the alternative solutions in cost, time & quality.
• Study and compare achieved activities versus the planned activities to evaluate the performance progress and commitment of the contractor in accordance with the project timeline and deadlines.
• Submit weekly reports to the project manager regarding the electrical work's progress, problems, or obstacles.
• Attending the initial tests and inspections for the electrical equipment & systems.
• Developing & implementing the maintenance procedures & Checklists.
• Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
• Checking the buildings' electrical, Mechanical & Low Current systems to ensure all systems' functionality.
• Planning and overseeing all repair and re-installation activities.
• Monitoring the tools, equipment & spare parts inventory, and placing orders when necessary.
• Monitoring the expenses and controlling the budget for maintenance.
• Following up on the progress and performance of the maintenance team.
• Keeping the maintenance logs and report on daily, weekly, monthly & yearly activities
• Design Lightning Protection & Grounding Systems for residential & industrial areas.
• Review, follow up & approve the electrical material submittals as per the required project specs.
• Supervising, reviewing & approving electrical installation activities & ensuring execution according to specs, codes & shop drawings.
• Reviewing & approving the bill of quantities & all related documents submitted by the contractor.
• Reviewing & approving the electrical materials submittals & all related documents submitted by the contractor.
• Reviewing & approving the change orders submitted by the contractor.
• Evaluating and resolving all project technical problems.
• Following up on the delivery date of long lead Material with a contractor to avoid any delay in electrical works activities.
• Managing the electrical team & distributing the assignments among site engineers.
• Review the electrical design drawings.
• Review the shop drawings required as per the design drawings.
• Following up on the electrical activities progress.
• Approve the submitted materials via contractors.
• Monitoring the achieved works & review the monthly payment certificate.
• Coordinate the electrical works with other trades.
• Review the submitted reports from site engineers.
• Participating in new plans to improve & develop the department's performance
• Carrying out the electrical design drawings for power & low-current systems
• Following up on the electrical activities.
• Submitting technical reports & providing technical solutions.
• Selecting & submitting the materials required as per the project specs.
• Submitting the shop drawings required as per the design drawings.
• Monitoring the achieved works & reflects on monthly payment certificate.
• Coordinate the electrical works with other trades.
• Checking & inspecting the materials installation & termination
• Design Electrical Layouts, inclusive of AC & DC drawings, Breaker size Calculations, Cable Size Calculations & generator control panel design.
• Perform all Spare Part Data Packages (SPDP) for Saudi Aramco documentation.
• Perform the bill of material (BOM) related to the generator's structure.
• Select suitable breakers and breaker accessories.
• Perform all the programs related to the generator controller.
• Review the purchasing orders to match the project requirements.
• Co-ordinate with other departments to issue suitable drawings & materials for the concerned project.
• Update the cost of Auto Transfer Switch (ATS).
• Design Electrical Layouts, including Voltage Drop Calculations, Cable Size Calculations…
• Carry out and design the Power, Lighting, and Low Current, lightning protection & Grounding systems for residential & Industrial Zones.
• Issue shop drawings, supervise & monitor quantities & specifications.
• Follow up on all ongoing projects. Assessing progress in each stage & updating whenever necessary.
• Perform the as-built drawings.
• Ability to prepare & perform all necessary electrical design work.
• Design Electrical Layouts inclusive of Voltage Drop Calculations, Cable Size Calculations
• Carry out and design the Power, Lighting, Low Current, lightning protection & Grounding systems for Residential & Industrial Zones.
• Issue shop drawings, supervise & monitor quantities & specifications.
• Follow up on all ongoing projects. Assessing progress in each stage & updating whenever necessary.
• Perform the as-built drawings.
• Ability to prepare & perform all necessary electrical design work.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Applied Electrical Engineering, with a specialization in Electrical Power Engineering from the Electrical Department.
