Across all branches inside KSA & outside (UAE, Qatar, Jordan and Sudan) and for a staff of more than 500 members, the duties are including but not limited to:
* Operational Mgmt.
- Playing a key role in chalking out the overall operational policies.
- Determining the types of equipments and vehicles needed to fulfill the organization needs.
- Monitoring department performance and expenses against budget and development of alternatives in case of any deviation.
- Ensuring an optimum use of the resources of the organization.
* Budgeting Mgmt.
- Receiving the budget estimates from all area managers and examine them for
correctness, accuracy, completeness and conformance with procedures, regulations and
organizational objectives.
- Preparing monthly expenditure statement to track actual expenses and correct any deviation.
* Warehousing Mgmt.
- Responsible for effective management of warehousing functions In the company- inbound and outbound.
- Ensuring continuous improvement for our warehousing performance including efficiency, productivity, service level, effective FIFO, minimal shrinkage and damages.
* Transportation Mgmt.
- Managing transportation section to ensure vehicles availability and reliability, to ensure excellence in service.
- Building a strong transport team to support a continuous growth of the company.
- Managing maintenance workshops to maintain the conduction of preventive maintenance according to monthly schedules.
* People Mgmt.
-Recruiting new staff locally and/or overseas.
- Managing staff training issues.
- Motivating other members of the team.
- Implementing health and safety procedures.
* Project Mgmt.
- Managing a project in Dammam Port with total value 21 million SR.
- Managing a project in Doha, Qatar with total value 13 million SR.
- Managing a project in Riyadh with total value 500.000 SR.
For one main warehouse and seven other branches, and for a staff of more than 80 employees, the duties and responsibilities are including but not limited to:
- Managing warehouses, logistics and workshop.
- Supervising and coordinating loading/offloading of inbound/outbound shipments.
- Planning and monitoring storage, delivery and dispatch of orders.
- Issuing inventory, damage, aging and regular transactions reports in daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Planning future requirements such as (equipments, trucks and manpower).
- Fulfilling company's objectives.
- Organizing the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress.
- Motivating and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are achieved.
- Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
For about 100 branches kingdom wide, and for a staff of more than 300 employees, duties and responsibilities are including but not limited to:
- Managing a fleet of 100 trailers (40 ft.) and 150 trucks (20 ft.).
- Planning & monitoring activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles.
- Scheduling trips to deliver FMCG goods to all branches kingdom wide in a sufficient way.
- Managing maintenance workshops to maintain the conduction of PM according to monthly schedules.
- Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
