Duties Performing:
• Verify the Final and Interim Invoices after checking the Consultant.
• Represent the Employer/Client in Design and Build Contract.
• Measure all material/quantities required for site by analyzing drawings. Checks plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Produce monthly cost & value reports, cash flow information, and cost comparison for different items.

• Attending the monthly progress review meetings and weekly meetings of QS Departments
Project: Expansion of King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH & RC), Riyadh (KSA).
King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre provides the highest level of specialized healthcare in an integrated educational and research setting located in the heart of Riyadh. The construction of the 22 storey 300 bed tower is a significant expansion to this Hospital campus.
Duties Performing:
• Measure all material/quantities required for site by analyzing drawings. Checks plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Preparing work sheet analysis and segregating category of work involved in the project proposal. Evaluating quotations obtained from different suppliers and subcontractors ensure quantities and specifications are in line with tender and project specifications.
• Inspecting site daily activities, evaluation of work executed; and submitting a consolidated Bill of Quantity (BOQ) in the format required by the client / consultant.
• Performing material take offs prior to the purchase requisitions for the projects and report any irregularities or discrepancies to the project management.
• Preparing takeoffs for additional items required and support in preparing change orders.
• Produce monthly cost & value reports, cash flow information, and cost comparison for different items.
• Checking material prices, making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the project.
• Collecting site data, calculating labor productivity, and scrutinizing the labor rates.
• Liaise with sub-contractors; compare prices, and processing payments.
• Attending the monthly progress review meetings and weekly meetings of QS Departments.

747 MW Power Plant
Duties Performing:
• Preparing cost breakdowns, estimates for tendering also vendor tracking for quotations.
• Attending the monthly progress review meetings and weekly meetings of QS Departments.
• Calculating the quantities from technical drawings and producing materials statements.
• Preparing bar bending schedules for structural members for ordering the steel.
• Processing the sub-contractor’s monthly payments.
• Preparing takeoffs for additional items required and support in preparing change orders.

Project:
Reconstruction of Health and Educational Facilities in Earthquake Affected Areas of AJK (Pakistan) after devastating Earthquake in 2005.
Involved in a US$ 50 Million reconstruction program to build government primary schools and hospitals (BHUs) in areas hit by the 2005 devastating earthquake. In total 710 schools, 12 hospitals and 200 temporary structures have been planned, constructed, commissioned and handed over to the government of Pakistan.
Duties Performed:
• Check the quantities in the measurement books to ensure that work executed are fully in compliance with technical drawings and specification.
• Processing interim payments, final payments and settling the final accounts.
• Joint site visit for final payments, prepare snag list of works to be rectified.
• Joint site visits after expiry of DLP and release the retention money.
• Controlling and maintaining cost accounts for each sub-project individually.
• Keeping records of changing in drawings and process the change orders.
• Reviewing the project estimates and producing the budget requirements.
• Review and verification of Variation Orders in case of additional items are required or when necessary to change any item of BOQ with new item.
• Attending the weekly and monthly progress review meetings.
