Design, Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Trees of World at Aspire Zone.
Job Description:
• Preparation of Tender documents with specifications for the upcoming sports fields and landscape construction projects.
• Maintenance of the 13 natural turf training football pitches and three artificial turf football pitches at Aspire Zone.
• Prepare Tendering scope of works for sub contracts of Annual maintenance contract for different areas.
• Prepare and update KPI’s to monitor the performance of contractors
• Budgeting for the different projects as per scope of work & specifications.
• Performing the Technical and Commercial evaluation of the bids from different bidders for the management approval.
• Plan & Schedule the programs of works for the sports fields, landscape park areas and artificial turf in accordance with the Contract.
• Researching the different grass species and weeds species for the effective management of the turf areas at Sport City.
• Research the different native and exotic tree species suitable to the desert and extreme climatic conditions of the Qatar.
• Evaluate the performance of contractors as per the reports.
• Conducting Weekly meetings with the different contractors for efficient and effective communication of the Project progress.
• Conducting the inspections for the formal acceptance of the project deliverables and to ensure the final deliverables meets the quality required by the project
• Research the new products, chemicals, fertilizers, equipments, services, trends in the market to improve the quality and processes of the Landscape department
• Play an active role with the Infrastructure/Development teams to study the business case of the proposed projects to ensure they are suitable and compatible with the set Organization standards
• Coordinate and communicate with the stakeholders on the required modifications, works and alterations that impact the infrastructure and/or landscaped areas.
• Issue the Project Completion certificates and Certify the contractor’s invoices as per the contractual terms &conditions.
• Participate and implement company’s sustainability & environmental policies.
• Managing Safety in the Workplace. To check the contractor’s Risk Assessment for all operations involved in the maintenance Planting,
• Ensure all the Sports Fields and Landscape projects are completed as per the scope, within time and budget constraints and as per the requirements of the projects to ensure the good quality.
• Effective communication with all the stakeholders to engage with to know their requirements and expectations and adjusting strategies to effectively involve them in the interest of the projects and to meet the objectives.
• Coaching and mentoring the subordinates during the project work to improve their performance to achieve the project objectives.
Design, Execution and maintainace of landscape and irrigation of ROYAL PALACES, ROYAL GARDENS, ROYAL FARMS, ROYAL VILLAS.Propagation of seasonals, trees, shrubs, grasses and Roses. Plantation and maintenanace of Royal Farm ( Guava, Fig, Anona, Coconut, Grape, Papaya, Orange, Lime and Lemon, Mandarin, Pomegranate, Avocado, Mulberry). Preparation of yearly budget, contract document, evaluation of performance of contactors. co ordinate with vendres- contractors GM, PM and Engineers - consultants. Monitering the projects in all stage of development for quality work. Preparation of handover and certification document. Nursery management. detail programme for plant protection - Insect pest and diseases management.
Landscape and Irrigation Survey, Design, Installation and cost estimation of new landscape and automatic irrigation system and their maintenance, Hydro-culture, indoor Plant maintenance. Flower Arrangement, Propagation- Green House. INSECT PEST IDENTIFICATION and CONTROL in AHMADI TOWNSHIP ( IPM).
Active involment in construction of 18 HOLE GOLF COURSE for Landscape and automatic Irrigation and Earthwork.
