I am part of Corporate Planning in Saudi Aramco.
Teaching business negotiations and organizational behavior courses in the Executive MBA and MBA programs.
Provided advice to the president of the group on organizational issues and helped build synergies between the diverse businesses that make up the group.
Assigned the task of building collaboration between Georgia Institute of Technology and Saudi Aramco.
Taught business statistics & human resources management courses in the Undergraduate program.
As a professor, I taught strategic management, organizational behavior, human capital management, and business ethics courses in the Undergraduate, Graduate and Executive programs. I also served as a member of the University Admissions Committee and University Disciplinary Committee.
A member of the team representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) that negotiated the Copenhagen Accord and the Cancun agreement. Provided technical analysis and assistance to the team, and participated in the detailed and technical negotiations. I also liaised and provided technical support on environmental and energy issues to other Saudi Arabian government bodies.
My main interest areas are conflict resolution, negotiations, and cross-cultural management issues.
Led a group of multinational contract employees (engineers & technicians) in developing designs and proposed solutions for various problem encountered in the main camp in Dhahran. My duties included:
• Performing technical evaluation and reviews for projects that serve the main camp of Aramco, and other facilities (several hundred office buildings, and several thousand dwelling units);
• Preparation of renovation packages to maintain and renovate various facilities in the camp;
• Proposing and / or providing design services to improve and enhance the aesthetic or the functional aspect of an area or building(s).
Started in IAP as a Graduate Intern in the Engineering Department and I accepted various assignments both in-kingdom and out-of-kingdom, awarded scholarships to pursue 2 masters’ degrees, and my last assignment at IAP was SENIOR CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR where my duties included:
• Administering 2 three-year contracts, each valued at $5 million;
• Formulating, administrating, and preparing contracts;
• Review and interpretation of contract's intent;
• Review of tenders and closeout material.
