Duties & Responsibilities :-
• Ensuring that the OH&S management system is established, implemented, and maintained.
• Conducting internal audits, auditing compliance with legal and other requirements, and monitoring the results of OH&S performance on a regular basis.
• Knowledge of Integrated Management System ISO 9000:2015, ISO 9000:2008 & OHSAS 18001:2007.
• Preparation and alignment of HSE Plan, objectives and systems with Company requirements
• Organizing HSSE Safety Recognition Programs at site.
• Conducting Safety Stand down training.
• Conducting Safety Induction training.
• Monitoring Inspection Check list of PPEs, housekeeping, Hand Tools, Fire Extinguishers, and Equipment’s and maintain the records.
• Identify, define, record and resolve matters pertaining to HSE Problems
Organize for internal Site/Fabrication workshop audits
• Submitting of Consolidated Weekly Observation Reports and HSSE Monthly Inspection Report.
• Formulate general safety policies and procedures to be followed by company project/site personnel in compliance with health and safety rules and regulations, develop safety guidelines
• Initiate, develop and implement safety awareness at offices, fabrication workshop, projects/sites and camps.
• Keeping Track of Third Party Inspection List of Equipment and Qualified Persons details.
• Coordinating with Third parties for External Safety related trainings.
• Risk Assessment for Structural erection, equipment installation etc.. as per client and project requirements.
• Ensure that project HSE requirements are met and in compliance with the company's HSE policies and client requirements.
• Monitoring of Waste and debris are properly segregated & regularly disposed.
• Checking Safety signage posted at the right locations.
• Inspection of barricades are in place where required.
• Inspection of Safe access/egress to the workplace is provided.
• Identify training requirements, and organize HSE training to own and sub-contractor employees
• Monitoring and reviewing all Mobile equipment operators documents.
• Enforcing Safety Rules and regulation on site as well Enforcement of Traffic control and speed limit on site.
• Taking part in Safety Committee & Management Walk Through.
• Prepare necessary HSE documentations - HSE plan, Risk Assessment, Job Safety Analysis, HSE Statistics and other HSE related documents.
• Check compliance with all statutory requirements, Client requirement regarding HSE.
• Conduct daily/weekly HSE inspections and prepare reports. Accident / Incident Investigation, weekly / Monthly reports, Safety statistics and presentation to management
• Make a decision to ensure a safe, accident free work and environment.
Conduct tool box talk to operatives to make them aware of the hazards of each activity undertaken
• Ensuring that the Fire Fighting & Safety equipment is regularly inspected & serviced.
• Interact with the company senior representative on health & safety pending issues.
• Ensure that safe working practices were adopted for the following activities like Excavation, Lifting activities, Manlift operations, Confined space entry, working at height, scaffolding, concrete pouring, welding, gas cutting, grinding, electrical safety, manual handling, Mobile equipment operations etc.
• Implement the company policies and safety management system, motivate the crew in the observation of such policies and appropriate orders and instructions in clear and simple manner.
I am handling HSE & Permit Section in Royal Commission Project for Landscaping & Irrigation.
Which involves works like Excavation, Working at height, Electrical Safety, Road work Safety, Civil work & Fabrication work safety etc. Conducting Safety Training, Tool box meeting & Onsite Training. Training Emergency mock drill etc.
