➢ Currently working as a Sr.Engineer - Steel Sourcing in Tempel Steel - Gudapakkam, Tiruvallur from June 2012 till now.
* Responsible for Sourcing of Cold Roll Non Oriented Steel (CRNO), Cold Roll Motor Lamination (CRML) and Cold Roll Commercial (CRCA)
* Handling both Import and Local Steel Purchase.
* Responsible for Organising Monthly Material Requirement Planning Meeting (MRP) with Top Management for Approving Steel Forecast purchase for Import Order.
* Responsible for Placing forecast Order with Import Steel Mills like Posco Korea, Bao Steel China, Lian Hunan China, JFE Japan and Nippon Steel Japan.
* Handling Local Steel Purchase with Essar, Posco ICPC, Posco IPPC, Bhushan Steel, Jindal Steel, Pos-Hyundai Steel and with Local Trader.
* Responsible for Price Negotiation with Supplier and Monitoring Global Steel Pricing with best comparatives.
* Handling user complaints and taking counter measures.
* Responsible for Job work of Slitting Operation.
* Responsible for arranging Payment to Supplier.
➢ Worked as a Technical Officer Trainee in Precot Meridian Limited, Pollachi from March 2006 to May 2007.
* Procurement of Spinning Machine maintenance spares parts and equipments etc.
* Special Spares follow-up for Erection purpose.
* Have good knowledge in SAP for creating P.O, creating P.R.
* Involving in TPM activities in Machine maintenance.
