Roles include but not limited to;
•responsible for maintaining linen area
•receive records and oversee sorting of clean linen from laundry
•ensure team members adhere to all health and safety regulations
•update the laundry productivity report on daily basis
•training members on job productivity
•makes recommendations to laundry manger/executive housekeeper
•Supervise daily operations and activities within the area of responsibility
•Monitors employees productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
•Ensures all machines are running fully to the rated capacity
•Ensures productivity and efficiency target are achieved
•Establishes and maintain positive and effective employee relationship
•Ensures all staffs comply with the company grooming standards
•Interacts and support with other departments as required
•Interacts with customer, courteously, promptly and ensures their request fulfilled.
•Training the staffs on how to use right chemical precautions measurements quantity with the right temperature to give quality results of the clean articles
•Distillation of the perc solvent in dry- cleaning machines for good results
•Operating the computerized calendar machine with its automatic folding machine.
•Ensuring the dryers are always lint free to avoid combustion and allow clean circulation of air.
•Receiving chemicals from the supplier and verifying
•Controlling the supplies to prevent huge unnecessary bills
•Cross checking the number of items received from the guest, sorting according to the colors, marking and checking guest valuables from the pockets and record any damages and reporting to the manager for communicating with the guest.
