Storage engineer who supports EMC field sales in all technical aspects
• Performing assigned tasks in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
• Taking care of manual & automated backups for Physical and VM Servers.

• Developing SOP documents about Backup & Recovery operations for different regions around world.
• Deploying & Troubleshooting RMAN backups.

• Updating patches regularly in Networker & NMC Server.
• Drawing upon concepts of tools, technologies and methodologies to collaborate with other technical specialists when carrying out assigned duties.
• Event Management - L1 Monitoring Machine Critical & Non Machine Critical Applications in Cloud Infrastructure.
• Monitoring Windows & UNIX servers, Network devices & Storage with the assigned tools & raise incident depends upon the severity.
• Work with engineers, peers and other IT groups on problems and change requests
• Assist in or facilitate the implementation of mitigating controls and processes
• Proactive system vulnerability analysis and recommends corrective measures to ensure the integrity of the company’s IT Infrastructure.
• Triage all related problem tickets and issues; participates in cross functional IT bridge calls and critical incident resolution processes
• Ensure high IT service availability to users on various platforms that are available and used in the environment
• Share the idea with team & managers to innovate new things.
• Managing the user accounts such as creation, modification, deletion and Resetting of existing password.
• File system management involves creation of file systems and extension of file system as per the request and it also involves deletion of file system.
• Monitoring the servers using AIX native tools.
• Recognizing and articulating job related problems to management.
• Performing assigned tasks in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
• Act on Day to Day House keeping tasks by using tools & scripts.
• Checking the errpt and escalating to next level.
• Installing file sets as per the request.
