• Serves as the main link between the Ministry and HRMO on all HR matters;
• Assists in developing HR policies peculiar to the Ministry;
• Prepares the HR strategy for the Ministry;
• Works in collaboration with HRMO to analyse jobs and prepare draft job descriptions and control the manpower budget of the Ministry;
• Prepares the manpower plans
• Provide s support to the Permanent Secretary in implementing the performance management system for the Ministry;
• Conducts training and development needs analysis for staff of the Ministry;
• Conducts employee welfare activities of the Ministry;
• Providing guidance and advice on human resource matters;
• Co-ordination of human resource management activities in areas of recruitment, appointment, placement and promotion; complement control; staff training and development; employee relations and welfare; and remuneration within the existing human resource policies, rules and regulations;
• Supervision, guidance, counseling, mentoring, training and development of staff under him/her.

• Handling Human Resource Management matters in the area of deployment i.e. recruitment, selection, placement, transfer, leave, training and development;
• Provision of guidance and advice on human resource matters within established policies, rules and regulations; and
• Supervision and guidance of staff working under him/her.
• Conducts employee welfare activities of the Ministry;
• Performs other duties within the scope and intent of the job as may be assigned from time to time.

DUTIES
• Develop Lesson Plans on a wide range of topics English Language and Literature in English.
• Assist the administration in administering discipline among pupils of the school.
• Serve in the school’s Cleaning Day Committee in the supervisions of general cleaning of the school compound on the last day of every month during the last period
• Ensuring that pupils attend school regularly in their correct uniform.
AS A SECRETARY-Writing letters and other documents on behalf of the church, taking down minutes, booking appointments, making reminders, and making announcements.
Serve as the main link between the Ministry and HRMO on all Human Resource matters and provide support to the Secretary in the area of planning and implementation of Human Resource policies and strategies of the Ministry.
Supervise all activities in the preparation, implementation and post implementations’ of April and May NID’s (National Immunisation Days) campaign.
•Reporting to the head office in Freetown during the entire process and Power point presentation after the process in Freetown.
The course is about management for middle level managers.. It is very interactive with experience sharing on job and country experience with regards to course content. Participants were from five Anglophone countries. 80% of the participants were from public sector whiles 20 were from private entities. It was a very rich course as we were opportune to be lectured for have discussions with expert from various field with relation to our course.
