Position: Slickline Team Leader
• Wireline Team Leader for all slickline operations, BH samplers and EMS gauges and responsible for running two contracts one onshore (ADCO) and the other offshore (ADMA)
• Preparing tender documents and complete study for new contracts.
• Prepare pre-qualifications for new contracts.
• Executing ADNOC HSE policy & Occupational Health.
• Preparing HSE statistics monthly and quarterly and yearly.
• Achieve score cards targets through each year
• Issuing service work orders, purchasing requisitions and purchase orders.
Tasks & Duties:
Is responsible for running on all the daily contracts activities:
A- Reviewing all slickline/ EMS operations including: ❖ Check suitability of all the equipment's to be used for wireline: • Dimensions, load ratings, pressure ratings.
• Certifications for lifting equipment / surface pressure equipment.
• Detailed reports of daily progress.
❖ Technical support for all staff.
❖ Handling all the well problems (Fishing - Stuck - Leakage)
❖ Actively review and introduce a new techniques and equipment.
❖ Set up the internal operational procedures and instructions for all different jobs to avoid incidents / problems.
❖ Ensure implementation of company policy and procedure.
❖ Put min / max for continue operations stock items.
❖ Main member in solving operation problems for all contracts.
❖ Ordering for external purchasing orders.
B- Following up the implementation of all well services operations including:
❖ Fishing Operations.
❖ Redressing workshop activities including Gas Lift Valve, SCSSV, etc
❖ Setting / retrieving different plugs.
❖ Setting / retrieving gas lift valves / SCSSV.
❖ Exercising / Lock open SCSSV.
❖ Open / Close SSD's
❖ Running memory gauges and production logging by slick line.
❖ Wireline operations on rigs.
❖ Bailing / gauging operations.
C- Tenders processing: ❖ Preparing tender documents and complete study for new contracts.
❖ Prepare pre-qualifications for new contracts.
❖ Technical evaluation for tenders.
❖ Prepare quotations and ordering tools & equipment from world companies.
D- Client Meeting Attendance and Reporting: ❖ Attend monthly / quarterly HSE client meeting.
❖ Attend quality service meeting.
❖ Present any slickline problem and investigate the root causes.
❖ Member in client investigation team for analyzing any incident.
❖ Attend contracts clarifications meetings.
❖ Preparing complete investigation report for any slickline problem and solutions to avoid its occurrence in the future.
E- Following Client/Company HSE plan and implementation: ❖ Set monthly/quarterly objectives for line responsibility
❖ Following executing company HSE plan by weekly auditing on workshop and locations.
❖ Attend owned monthly safety meeting and raise the issued safety alerts and client HSE instructions to avoid incidents.
❖ Interviewing staff to check HSE awareness.
❖ Explaining with HSE engineer the job safety analysis for all staff.
❖ Save all contract HSE items like BA, gas detectors, goggles etc
❖ Following the executing of company operations manual for all slickline jobs.
❖ Reviewing all checklists and documents like daily vehicle checklist, check cards, stop cards etc..
1995 - 2004:
Gharib Oil Services Company (Syria Branch)
- Operation manager for Gharib Oil Services for (AFPC) AlFurat Petroleum Company as a joint venture with SHELL.
- Responsible for running 3 contracts (Wireline & Beam Pump) for:
• Al Furat Petroleum Company AFPC
• Total Fina Elf & Deir Ezzor Petroleum Company
• Dublin international petroleum (Syria) limited
- Consultant for solving any slickline problem (Otis / Baker & Camco Tools)
1983 -1995:
Gulf Of Suez Petroleum Company (GUPCO) offshore in Egypt
- Start as wireline assistant / wireline operator / supervisor for wireline (Rig / Rigless operations)
-The last position was section head for Wireline (Rig / Rigless)
1980 - 1983:
Iraqi National Oil Company (INOC)
- Drill Stem testing Engineer on exploration wells in Basra (Southern Oil) to evaluate formation testing in Southern & Eastern Rumaila fields.
