• Oversight and coordination of all implementation activities in Provinces including timely update of cold chain inventory.
• Ensure vaccine and logistics management of all COVID-19 related activities including logistics readiness for implementation
• Optimal support /coordination imparted to provincial EPI in updating and operationalization of all the vaccine and cold chain management related SOPs.
• Ensure active participation in developing EVM-Improvement Plan (EVM-IP) as well as optimal coordination and oversight for the effective and timely implementation of the same.
• To monitor implementation progress of EVM-IP against defined indicators and milestones.
• Checking the accuracy of temperature control and monitoring devices.
• Environmental management of refrigeration equipment.
• Maintenance of storage facilities.
• Temperature mapping of storage areas
• Implement a maintenance Programme for all temperature-controlled rooms, cold rooms, freezer rooms, refrigerators and freezers:
• Carry out regular preventive maintenance on all temperature controlling equipment.
• Employ best practice to eliminate leakage of refrigerant into the environment during installation, maintenance and decommissioning of refrigeration equipment.
The following cold room maintenance checks performed on a daily basis:
• Ensure compressors are not leaking oil
• Ensure the cold room is cooling to the correct temperature
• Ensure no ice is forming on the evaporator
• Check levels of refrigerants and ensure optimal functionality
• Check all control valves
• Ensure defrost function is working
• Check that evaporators are optimally functional
• Perform a final system functionality test and check for malfunctions
Ensuring effective initiation of the project, work-planning and operational launch of project activities in the respective province
• Effectively coordinate implementation of the project activities in province, including monitoring and quality assessment of activities as per quarterly workplans.
• Responsible for day-to-day management, administration and decision-making of the project activities at provincial and field level.
• Oversees planning process for the project at provincial level and ensures its implementation in accordance with the signed project document.

Facilitated in development of Request for Proposals RFPs for hiring consultancies for campaigns on immunization and vaccination process.
Facilitated communications between home office, field office, and between technical and management staff to ensure regular, open communication including routine team meetings
Coordinated processes to support program strategy development, work plan development and monitoring; support the day-to-day implementation of work plan activities
Provide financial and administrative support to back-stop in-country teams and field offices to facilitate financial management, operations. Financial responsibilities could include field accounts, cash flow requests, procurement support, etc.
Collaborate with technical staff to draft scopes of work/RFPs for consultants, contractors, or technical assistance providers working under assigned project activities;
Assisted in hiring of provincial Centers for ESMP Coordinators in recruiting local staff, and orienting field staff donor systems;
Administrative Management:
Facilitated in preparation of draft contracts for vendors and review subcontracts and vendor agreements; maintain print and electronic operating files and regularly update network drives.
Documentation and Knowledge Management:
Lead the preparation, editing, formatting and dissemination of Center and project reports, work plans, presentations, technical documents, etc, including tracking deadlines for reporting to ensure timely, quality reports; I also delivered my services with communications staff to develop and disseminate project materials, newsletters, social media and other communications materials in support of the Immunization Center communications strategy.
New Business Development:
Assisted leadership in the development of various components of program and other new development activities ongoing situation response including working with other departments to monitor RFPs, track status of proposals, and update Immunization Procurement Plan and Other duties as assigned.
