- Conduct radio network surveys, visit possible base station sites in order to decide if they are suitable from a radio network point of view.
- Performs complete radio network design including traffic calculations, coverage estimations, coverage predictions, frequency plan creation and optimization.
- Prepare the cell design data (CDD) documents, specifying the Radio Network system Parameters (RNP) of each cell in the final cell plan including (Cell site selection, Antenna type, Antenna height, Tilt, Azimuth, BCCH, MAL, HSN, MAIO, LAC, CGI, Neighbors Plan, Hopping type)
- Performing Drive Test & field optimization of city and town sites with TEMS and providing necessary antenna tilts and azimuth changes.
- Analyzing all major KPI such as CSSR, HOSR, UL/DL quality, TCH blocking, TCH
drop, HR/FR settings etc. to improve network level KPI.
