Working with Omni-ID as a technology and business leader who has years of global delivery experience in RFID technology.
My business acumen earned me the current role as a Regional Head in South East Asian Region in the world's number 1 Passive UHF patented RFID Tags manufacturer - Omni-ID. Current significant projects include:
• Asset tagging in Oil and Gas Industry - Chevron, Indonesia (April 2013)
• Depot logistic management - Caterpillar Thailand & Indonesia
• WABCO Thailand ERP project (Green field facility)
• Warehouse management - Intel Corporation at Penang, Malaysia contracted by DHL
• Upcoming projects: Philippine airlines, Depot management for world’s biggest automotive battery manufacturer (2 million batteries per month)
Drove an overwhelming increase in RFID tag sales from a steady trending 10%, 20%, 40% to 50% month on month since Omni-ID started office in Singapore.
Managed to build influential relationships and established credibility with the government sector across the South East Asia region. Current significant one is with the Philippines Department of Science and Technology (DOST)-ICTO. During the Feb. 2013 RFID Technology Awareness Workshop, I headed the event from inception to successful implementation.
Currently working with the Philippines government DOST-ICTO, to create Centre of Excellence (COE) for RFID technology.
Responsible for business analysis, data modelling, development and implementation of GOODPACK’s 3 million asset management project, this includes vendor-management of the hardware/software and entire aspects of project. (Project value US$ 7 million)
• Lead the team along with vendor to develop UHF metal RFID tag unique for the environment where metal is penetrated everywhere.
• Led business and functional requirements for Goodpack equipment management system (GEMS) for third party vendor development.
• Managed the commercialisation of GOODPACK's RFID GEMS project supporting customer in Taiwan, Philippines & Thailand. Also worked with regional heads of Russia, SA, EU regions.
• Worked with GOODPACK’s global depots for implementing supply chain visibility solutions using RFID technologies.
• Responsible for building RFID enabled product and asset tracking software providing cost saving benefits to customers and internal business. Approx project cost more than US$ 2.3 Million. The achievement was accolade in the leading newspaper of Singapore The Strait Times as cover story during the release of special report for RFID developments in Singapore.
• Awarded SGD 100k grant from RFID innovation platform, National RFID Centre, Singapore. (Endorsed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Singapore government)
Responsible for Pre-Sale and Post-Sales of RFID based projects. Worked closely with customer to transform the business requirements into best suitable solution
•Directed full-cycle completion and installation of Vehicle Authentication System (VAS) to India’s leading private Bank
•Based on the business specific requirements, developed & demonstrated a POC to a big Realtor firm which won INR 2 Million contract for installation of Parking Management System (PMS)
•Managed to researched & develop a system to track in-out ratio of Fully Electronic Branch (FEB) of a leading private Bank to track visitors without negotiating their privacy
