o Headed the design and development of diverse products, including low-voltage distribution boards, IP55 & IP65-rated metal enclosures, EV charging pedestal, and various plastic and sheet metal components. o Successfully delivered consumer units for the UK market, distribution boards for Oman, Kuwait, and KSA, demonstrating adaptability to different market needs. o Collaborate with industrial designers to refine product concepts, ensuring alignment with project goals. o Create manufacturing-ready designs for different fabrication methods, managed BOMs in SAP, and ensured compliance with specifications. o Work closely with product managers to adapt prototypes for market review, leading and managing multiple projects concurrently. o Conduct tolerance analyses for high-volume manufacturing and actively contributed to DFMEA reviews for product improvement. o Verify design compliance, generated detailed reports for benchmarking, and established material specifications. o Conduct cost estimation for new products, played a key role in vendor development, and provided mentorship to junior engineers.
o Designed Air intake manifold, Air intake duct includes 3D tooled feasible modeling, splitting of parts for manufacturability and to join by vibration welding. o Studied customer input duct design and optimized part for tooling feasibility. o Extensively used Catia V5 for modeling and surfacing & tooling proposals for customers. o Created drawings for manufacturing, project reports and proposals.
o Designed and developed Mirror assembly (IRVM, ORVM and motorized mirror) as per AIS standards. o Gauges and fixtures design for mirror assemblies. o DFMEA, PPAP, APQP o Prepared product technical datasheet for quotation.
o Plastic & Sheet-metal part design in CAD (CATIA V5 & Unigraphics). o Designed Two-Wheeler body parts (Plastics) - Class A and B surface. o Re-mastering of sheet-metal components into Catia from SLDPRT, IGES or STEP data
