1. Leading Support Team : Monitor, Improve, guide and motivate all the support team members for a smooth customer support environment. (Tool: BMC Footprints, Manage Engine Desktop Central)

1. Manage daily Internal IT operations which includes installation, configuration and administration of LAN/WAN/Servers/Storage as per project requirements.
2. Administer the configuration and operation of computer operating systems.
3. Administer Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Exchange, SharePoint and File Server.
4 .Maintain annual support contract with Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Dell etc., for existing devices in the infrastructure. Periodic data center inspection followed by summary report to management.
5 .Provide Workstation/laptop and IP phone with peripherals for new employees along with active directory account, mailbox, File server access and SharePoint access and necessary training for the company IT policies and procedures.
6 .Protecting all workstations, servers and network devices from vulnerability by installing and managing McAfee EPolicy Orchestrator and Fortigate Firewall systems.
7 .Provide technical support for both hardware and software applications like Microsoft Office, AX 2009, AutoCAD, Photoshop, VPN issues for end users through an internal helpdesk system.
Projects:
1.SSANG CCIS: Expansion for existing infrastructure which included 3 sites each comprising of DELL servers, storage, tape library, workstations and layer 2 CISCO switches. Implementation of Operating Systems (Server 2008 R2), Active directory, Exchange server (2010), Lync Server (2010) and mission-critical application server.
2.Pilatus: Project comprising of HP servers, 3 PAR storage, Cisco Nexus switches and client workstations. SNC scope included delivery and installation of servers, switches and storage in the data center, Setup and installation of server operating system, storage installation and configuration and end user training.
3.F.S.S Al-Kharj: Delivery, installation and configuration of classroom designed to provide advanced level training to pilots which included servers (HP DL 380 gen9), client workstations, projectors, smart boards and switches.
Level 1 User Support:
1. Conduct daily operations and monitor databases, user accounts and other systems according to standard operating protocols for backup architectures.
2. Execute system monitoring and backup protocols to ensure data security, availability and integrity of required resources, and efficient recording of application logs.
3. Setup workstation/Laptop, Printer and peripherals for new hires and also create active directory account, exchange mailbox, File Server Access, shared printer, and IP phone.
4. Provide support to users on common operating system crashes, slow pace and connectivity in all installed applications which include Sophos, Visio, Project professional, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Lync/office apps, Microsoft AX client, etc.
5. Provide necessary training for new and existing users on email archiving to local disk in office 2010/2013, Microsoft AX client usage through Xen desk, file server Quota and efficient use of printers.
Level 2 Infrastructure Support:
1. Install, monitor software and hardware, maintain operating systems, security tools, web-servers, email, PCs, local and area-wide networking.
2. Configuration changes in HP Rack Servers, Cisco Layer 2 switches and additional requirements like addition of new servers, switches, routers and access points.
3. Conduct preventive maintenance activity cycles which include upgrading physical memory in workstations/laptops, addition of PCI cards in servers and Cisco switches.
4. Update server and network drawings in Microsoft Visio for changes in active and passive components which include new rack addition, servers, switches, routers, storage, PDU and network cable layout.
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science
