• Took over the Administration and Management of a Home for Differently-Abled children previously run by a committee headed by the District Collector on their request since, they had exhausted their funds provided by National Trust, New Delhi.
• Branded the home with the name “Rotary Ashia” which means Hope & Life.
• Revamped the entire Administration by appointing a full time Manager and taking in new support staffs apart from the existing staff and thus increased the strength.
• Started an orientation program for staff and parents and also set up Parent Staff Committee.
• Brought in systems wherein all activities were recorded & monitored to name few,
1. Staff daily work schedule (attendance & movement time)
2. Daily food preparation, cleaning, washing and maintenance schedule

4. All meeting schedule of Staffs (fortnightly) and Parent Staff Committee (monthly)
5. Student activity & progress chart (quarterly)
6. Appraisal report of the staff.
7. Inventory maintenance of food materials, donations (cash & kind) and other materials.
8. Maintenance of vouchers, donation receipts and payments.
9. Maintenance and follow up of Sponsors
• Effectively developed the communication strategy through letters to sponsors, press, local media, schools & colleges in creating awareness about the Home. Have continuously conducted events like painting exhibitions, Fun Feast, Home appliance and game exhibitions as our fund generating events.
• Brought in a ‘Meal Sponsor’ system wherein we encourage the public to celebrate their birthdays, anniversaries, Remembrance Day and festivals by either sponsoring breakfast/lunch/dinner or food for whole day by paying cash for the food prepared by us and they could serve them and spend some time with our children. This is currently taking care of the recurring monthly expense.
• In the 3 years term we not only have cleared the outstanding, and also have done a sea of positive changes which have improved the quality of life of the beneficiaries. We could raise funds to a tune of 40 lakhs over this period that took care of the developmental activities, our monthly expenses and overhead.
Key Responsibilities & Accomplishments as Business Consultant:
• Through our Consultancy we have provided consultancy services in restaurant & hospitality industry, small & medium scale agriculturist (tea, vegetable & floriculture), textile & garment and wholesale & retail outlets.
• Had been providing Business Solutions to small & medium business establishments in the areas of stock inventories, HR management, appraisals & rewards system, skill development and implementation & monitoring of systems.
• Could ensure a continuous improvement in the quality of service provided and an improvement in sales & profitability.
• Have also conducted various seminars and workshop on leadership & soft skill development for schools having Interact clubs, Rotaract clubs, Providence College, Merrit College, and Officers of Cooperative Societies & Govt. School Staff.
