As a Commissioning Engineer i have following duties & responsibilities,
1. Preparing all commissioning related submittals and submit it to OBO.
2- Preparing and submitting a detailed commissioning execution plan detailing the logistics associated with performing and coordinating the commissioning plan requirements.
3- Preparing of maintenance library of all equipment and systems installed in the buildings.
4- Preparing of all equipment training items.
5- Preparing of equipment start-up and energization submittals.
6- Submission of quality control tests submittals.
7- Submission of functional performance tests to the PDCOR.
8- Submission of HVAC test and balance reports.
9- Preparation of record spare parts & specialty tools inventory.
10- Monitor all mechanical related activities at sites including HVAC, plumbing and firefighting.
Centaraus Malls and Hotels is a series of Multi-story Shopping Malls and Luxury Hotels consisting of Shopping Floors, Restaurants and commercial offices.
Worked as Mechanical Resident Engineer in Client’s PGCL (Pak Gulf Company Ltd) for Multi-Story Buildings (Malls and Hotels) since July 2019.
Main Duties and Responsibilities includes:-
1. To manage triangle between Client, Contractor & Designer
2. Manage and supervise site executions of MEP building services i.e HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing and integrated services.
3. To review MEP design and provide technical assistance to contractors/sub-contractors.
4. To monitor and instruct MEP contractor to carry out the work according to the design specifications/codes & standards and approved shop drawings.
5. To Check and verify contractor’s site activities including MEP systems installations.
6. To supervise the testing and commissioning of MEP services.
7. To coordinate with other departments and services for the smooth execution of all services at site.
8. To verify the contractor’s executed works and material delivery at site.
9. To assist MEP manager in contractor’s IPC/ Bills verification and BOQ related queries.
10. To prepare the requirement/quantity of material/BOQ sheets and Engineering Estimate from the approved drawings.
11. To provide technical assistance to procurement department for the purchasing of owner furnished materials.
12. To assist MEP manager in site coordination and in other office related tasks.
13. To generate weekly and monthly site progress reports and work ahead schedules.
14. To generate indents for the material required at site
15. To perform multiple site visits where/when required
16. To handle and manage equipment supplies at site as per requirement
17. To provide maintenance services for the operational and ongoing projects of Centaurus Malls & Hotels.
Main Duties and Responsibilities includes:-
• Responsible for Inspection, Testing, Installation, Erection, Operation and Maintenance and Commissioning Document Control of following Mechanical Equipment:
• Air Handling Units (YORK CUSTOM AHU)
• ACCU (Air Cooled Condensing Unit) Multistack Chillers having up to 5 modules per chiller.
• DHRC (Multistack Dedicated Heat Recovery Chillers)
• Water Tube Boilers Manufactured by Cleaver-Brooks
• Condensing Boilers Manufactured by HARSCO Industrial, Patterson-Kelley
• Domestic Water Heating System that includes Water Pumps PWH (Pre Water Heater), BWH (Boiler Water Heater), Thermostatic Mixing Valve, Expansion Tanks, and Heat Exchangers
• Hydronic Pumps includes End Suction Pumps and In-Line Pumps.
• Heat/ Energy Recovery Units (YORK CUSTOM HRU/ERU)
• Fan Coil Unit (Enviro-Tec FCU)
• Air Terminal Units VAV(Variable Air Volume)
• Generators (280 KW SDMO Generators)
• Power ventilators Manufactured by GREENHECK
• Split types air conditioners Manufactured by ACSON International
• Swimming Pool equipment like Close Coupled Centrifugal Pumps, Solar Pool Heating System and Filters.
• Irrigation System.
• Waste water treatment plant

Responsible for Inspection, Testing, Installation, Erection, Operation and Maintenance of following Mech. Equipment:
• HVAC System includes Chillers, Cooling Towers and Air Handling Units.
• Potable/Fire Water (Electric & Diesel engine driven) Booster Pumps (Horizontal Split case Centrifugal Pumps)
• Potable/Fire Water (Electric & Diesel engine driven) Distribution Pumps ( Horizontal Split case Centrifugal pumps 2500 USgpm with 2950 RPM Potable water Booster Pumps AKAY Industries WF80-32H and Vertical multistage Booster pumps/Pressure maintenance pumps 92SV5 Lowara ITT 2960 RPM)
• Drainage system (Submersible pumps Make HOMA with 720 RPM, 15.9kW motor)
• Fire suppression pipes and fittings.
• 80 km Potable/Fire Water Distribution Piping Network
Ductile Iron (D.I) Piping for above ground piping layouts
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Piping for underground piping layouts
• Jockey pumps and potable water VFD pumps.
• Caterpillar V3616 Diesel Engine Generators air start.
• Electrical and Diesel Engine Air Compressor.
• Valves (a) Gate valve (b) Butterfly valve (c) Check valve (d) PRV valve, MOV, ARV.
• Water storage tanks (capacity:1000m3 to 14900m3)
• Maintenance of Overhead Cranes includes Bridge cranes and monorail (KONECRANES)
• Testing of (Electrical & Diesel) driven Fire Pumps as per NFPA 25
• Operations and Maintenance of Diesel Engines (Clarke model JU6HUF32 with 2600 RPM and JX6H-UF50 with 1760 RPM and Volvo Penta TAD1242VE with 1800 RPM and TD720VE with 1800 RPM)
• Fire Fighting System (FM 200, Fire Hydrants, Sprinkler System, Fire Extinguishers, Deluge System)
• Project Management.
