Working as Senior Instrument & Control Engineer at 320 MW Steam Turbine Power Plant & 420 MW (2 X 210) Harbin Steam Turbine GENCO-III WAPDA Muzaffargarh and having responsibility for safe and sound operation and maintenance of the following systems.

 Successfully completed the Technical, Commercial Evaluation and Installation for Up-Gradation and Replacement of 320 MW Steam Turbine control Xinhua D.E.H III & Boiler management system FSSS with XDC-800 D.C.S system in year 2013-2014.
 Successfully completed the Technical, Commercial Evaluation & Installation for Up-Gradation and Replacement of 2 x 210 MW steam turbine D.E.H with E.C.S 100 D.C.S system and Pneumatic Control system with Motorized control system in year 2015.

• DCS (Distributed Control System) provided by Westinghouse U.S.A. with operating system OS/2 (WDPF 7.0 software level). Function of DCS is to monitor, record, analyse, alarm generation and control the parameters of all plant except turbine proper that is controlled by DEH system.
• Maintenance of D.E.H III (Digital Electro Hydraulic III), Steam Turbine Governing System installed by Xin-Hua China. It is multi feedback multi control system for the controlling of turbine Speed and Megawatt.
• Microprocessor based PLC by Modicon for FSSS (burner management) AEG Modicon programmable controller 984 model 685E. Software installed for Modicon 984-685E is Taylor Industrial Software’s Version 1.30 ProWORXPLUS. PLC is used for controlling 16 burners that are divided into four elevations.
• Maintenance of Turbine Supervisory System 3300 of Bentley Nevada for protection and measurement of Bearing Vibration, Axial Shift, Shaft Eccentricity, Differential Expansion.

• Maintenance of H.P/L.P Bypass of Steam Turbine provided by Sulzer Ltd Switzerland.

• In-depth knowledge of analyzing control system upsets and related operating problems including investigations and equipment failure / trip analysis in order to identify the root cause.

• Good knowledge about automatic control, Ladder logic drawing reading, Loop reading, PID Controllers, Controller tuning methods, feedback control.

• Calibration of level, flow, pressure and temperature measuring/monitoring instruments along with field controllers.

• Preparation of budget estimates for spares required to maintain the maximum and minimum store level.
• Preparation of preventive maintenance schedule and implementation of testing schedule of Plant Protections by leading a group of technicians with the coordination of Operation Engineers.
