1- Responsible for all GIS related works starting from data collection
methodology to application design ending with submission to client.
2- Searching for and acquiring data sources that the company needs
from different governmental and other organizations.
3- Preparing site survey plan, the programs and tools used in the survey,
and supervising the survey team for solving problem and editing paths.
4- Dealing with all data formats and Converting it to be used in GIS
programs.
5- Discussing customer requirements, making project plans, determining
required data and design database which is suitable for every
application, follow work progress with clients according to plan, then
training users on using applications.
6- Preparing and making presentations for new customers explain how
GIS techniques develop their business.
7- Share in preparing pricing offers and proposals in different projects.
8- Setting data entry plan and automation methodologies for finishing
work in minimum time and effort besides training the team on them.
9- Design scalable relational database structure and distributing tasks on
team members, synchronizing databases and applying quality control on
data entry to make sure that data is correct and inform team members
with mistakes to eliminate.
10- Supervising and helping developers and explaining them the
database structure and its contents in detail.
11- Developing programs' design and testing them through "Focus Groups" and selecting the most user- friendly for customer.
12- Providing suitable work environment to team members, assist in
solving all problems they experience and training them to develop their
skills.
13- Evaluation of team members' achievements in work and ending
evaluation reports to CEO.
14- Searching continuously for new automation methods of databases
and using programming languages to make data entry easier and faster.
15- Updated with new technologies especially in GIS and work on
entering these techniques in the work system of the company.
1- Testing programs and report bugs to developers to fix it.
2- Suggest solutions and improve program analysis.
1- Network analysis for FMCG industries (Schweppes, Kraft Foods).
2- Digitizing maps from topographic maps and Satellite images.
3- Geocoding clients retail points on maps and entering information.
