Social media management:

Social Media Listening and Crisis Management:

● Expert on using social media listening tools (Brandwatch and Sprinklr)
● Setting up comprehensive queries and dashboards to track mentions across multiple platforms
in Arabic and English
● Conduct real-time monitoring of social media channels, forums, blogs, and news sites to
identify relevant conversations and discussions
● Daily monitoring of the conversation around Alshaya Group, highlighting the main drivers of
conversation and flagging any urgent issues
● Proactively detect potential crises and issues affecting Alshaya’s reputation and provide timely
alerts to the VP of Corporate Communications
● Acted as the main point of contact for social media listening and Brandwatch support, assisting
+80 brands in crisis monitoring and management, including Starbucks, H&M, American Eagle,
Debenhams, and Bath & Body Works and more
● Diligently monitored over 140 Alshaya brands' social media pages during the COVID-19 crisis.
Identified and reported complaints related to COVID-19 safety in stores and restaurants, as
well as ecommerce grievances. These reports were shared with the senior leadership team
and brands' presidents
● Generate regular reports explaining key findings and insights from online conversations
● Continuously refine and optimize keyword sets to ensure accurate tracking and analysis of
relevant conversations
● Support team members, brands, and stakeholders on effective Brandwatch and Sprinklr usage,
and provide guidance on setting up queries, dashboards, and identifying optimal keywords
● Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to maximize the
potential of social media listening tools
● Support brands in understanding and effectively utilizing Brandwatch.


Socialbakers/Emplifi: (Alshaya Group’s main social media management tool)

● Main point of contact for Alshaya’s brands teams’ regarding any Socialbakers/Emplifi related
enquiries, supporting +80 brands
● Providing Alshaya brands teams with support on how to set up their accounts, use
Socialbakers, schedule content, analysis, setting up dashboards
● Worked closely with Alshaya’s account manager at Socialbakers to streamline the relationship
between them and the brand teams
● Organized +10 training sessions with Socialbakers, which were attended by +70 team
members in Kuwait and virtually from Russia, Poland, and Türkiye
