Project: Residential and leisure Tower at Lussail City

Role:

1- Leading a Team of Architects and Interior Designers for Design Package review, Coordination, and Development

2- Responsible for details design and Development of all Façade Works for the tower, including Unitized System Curtain wall, Stick system curtain wall, Composite panels, Glass Balustrade, and Steel Façade Mesh Screen, along with edge of slab and core works.

3- Coordination of all Façade works, along with Interior Fit Outs details.

4- Selection and Approval for All Façade, and Interior Material and Reviewing the relative submittals.

5- Reviewing all the Shop drawings submitted by the contractor considering the re-designed Details and design.

6- Coordination of all MEP Services with Architectural layouts, including reviewing builders work, slab arrangements, openings, etc.

7- Reviewing the MEP design and construction to achieve the required GSAS grade.

8- All the work was done and reviewed in light of the Green Buildings Guidelines and Lussail City regulations.

9- Responsible for inspecting and approving all interior fit out works as per the highest standards, including Kitchen cabinets and built in joinery works.

10- Responsible for Selection and Approval of All Furnishing items

Assigned Tasks as a Healthcare Senior Architect:

1- Developing the Interior and Exterior design of the building, Including details design
2- Responsible for the Material Selection of all interior Finishes for Patient rooms, public areas, utility rooms, and back of house
3- Responsible for reviewing all engineering documents; material submittals, method statements, sample submission, shop drawings, and as built, etc.
4- Developing details design for various finishes to be implemented on site
5- carrying out external and internal inspections as per the ITP of each Item
6- Developing the design and finishing quality, with the client (HMC) Technical team
7- Preparing the close out documents for the project to be handed over to the operators after QCDD approval.

4- Inspecting and Approving each phase after the completion of all existing assets protection and erecting all the required physical barriers prior to the physical work.
5- Ensuring all the works are going smoothly without compromising patients, staff and visitor’s safety or convenience
6- Supervising all the required testing and final inspections prior to the preparation of handing over
7- Attending the Handing over of Each department back to the operation team, Nursing, Engineering, HICT, and Facility management, and ensuring that all the assets are back in commission, validated and calibrated, All the clean areas are terminally cleaned, fumigated and air sample is negative (Safe zone)

Assigned Tasks as a Senior Architect:

1- Project scope was to Comply with NFPA 101 and QCDD Requirements for all Passive architectural aspects; walls, doors, railing, ceiling, facades, Windows, Emergency exits, staircases, and Ramps.
2- Reviewing all Material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and as built for any of the above mentioned works
3- On Site inspections as per the ITP of each Item, and All Finishes.
4- Monitoring the Final Function Tests for Fire Alarm interface with each of the architectural elements
5- Value engineering for the project, issuing omissions, cost reductions, and reviewing variations if any
6- Preparing the close out documents for the project handover to QCDD and MOI.

2- Preparing a 3D Plan for construction Zoning of each Facility vertical and horizontal wise considering patient flow, contractors flow, and infection control restrictions with regards to cross contamination and safe passages
3- Explaining and presenting the Risks, Mitigations of each, time frame, activities breakdown, and alternatives for the end users, with the help of corporate services, and accordingly, agreeing on decanting / service shifting strategy for each department (Domestic or in other facilities)
4- Finalizing the plan and submitting to the client for tendering.
