Oxford Business Group is a leading publisher of economic and political intelligence on the markets of the Eastern Europe, Africa, The Middle East, Caribbean and Asia. Through its range of print and online products, OBG offers comprehensive and accurate analysis of political, macroeconomic and sectoral developments, including banking, capital markets, energy, infrastructure, industry and insurance.
Managed all aspects of projects in Egypt (3 projects), Saudi Arabia, and Bulgaria to successfully produce an annual publication on the “Economy of Emerging Markets” in those countries. Assisted in publications for Malaysia and Taiwan.
Set up and administered all operations in project countries: including hiring and managing staff, procuring office space and living arrangements, developing networks, and producing bottom line results for projects.
Successfully yielded a turnover for each six month project of at least 450, 000 Sterling British Pounds.
Developed and maintain network of over two hundred fifty executive businessmen and political leaders of each project country.
Developed and maintain network with government officials from the top seven Ministries including Trade and Industry, Investment, IT and Telecom, Finance, Tourism, Transport, Health, and Agriculture
Manage and organize Editorial team, Project Coordinators, Analysts and remote communications with headquarters
Develop partnerships with strategic organizations, companies, and business groups in project countries..
Procure all PR, Marketing materials and Press coverage for project.
Research, design, prepare, and deliver formal presentations to government officials and top Executives
Develop and implement individual and group work, schedules and projects
3.3 GPA, with a minor in International Relations and Spanish. I have completed one study abroad program in Salamanca spain durning the spring of 2002 and three internships with CIGNA Group insurance and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
