• Verify the patient’s insurance eligibility such as insurance validity, patient’s identity, take copy of QID or other valid identity card for cross identity check and signatures.

• Coordinate with the doctor for any medically necessary services or procedures to be done to the patient that requires approval from the insurance company.
• Evaluate the appropriateness of the diagnostic code on the claims and procedures code done to the patient including relevance of symptoms and clinical investigation with procedures and return to the physician for clarification in case of doubts.
• Obtain pre-approval for all patients’ dental procedures in accordance with insurance policies and procedures.
• Prepare, review and transmit claims using billing software or excel program including electronic or paper claim processing.
• Encode insurance claims details in the monthly billing spreadsheet provided by various insurance companies.
• Arrange and maintain data for medical data base and registries.
• Answer all patients or insurance telephone inquiries pertaining to status of the insurance benefits.
• Scan and maintain all insurance billing reports, medical records and patients’ file and upload in the EMR for future reference.
• Work harmoniously with the team and actively participate in all company meetings and activities.
