• Carry out the research, design and evaluate the existing health promotion programs in areas of nutrition, weight

• Act as a subject matter expert in Nutrition on a local and national level; participate in training development for Physical exercise specialists and other experts in the field.
• Identify and respond to the health promotion needs of the Canadian forces’ community by developing new courses, programs and education material as well as offering individual consults for personalized support.
• Write on a weekly basis a nutrition article in the national Canadian forces’ bilingual magazine SERVIR.
• Evaluate the nutritional status of patients in critical care and determine the appropriate route of feeding (oral, enteral &/or parenteral) depending on the nutritional needs of the patient; in cooperation with the treating medical team.
This is a graduate diploma offered to a very limited group of health professionals to help them in their actual work field. You need to be very competitive to be able to keep up in this program and its intensive courses. I am presently following the courses by correspondence.
I have completed this masters degree in conjunction with an internship to become member of the order of dietitians of Quebec. My thesis was about the Effect of different feedings on the growth & development of the premature infant
