I started Secret PR in order to help the PR and Marketing industry in the UAE. I am responsible for all business strategies including business development, recruitment, training, accounts and more. I manage a team of four people who handle social media, public relations, marketing and events, making sure to direct them accordingly and equip them with all the skills and resources they need to fulfill their monthly and annual KPI’s. My efforts were most recently recognised by Communicate Magazine as they recently named me one of the top 15 women to watch in the industry in April 2016. Secret PR now handles clients in the UAE, Qatar and the United Kingdom, and has won over 30 new clients in 2016.

As the Senior PR Executive at MAME, I was responsible for several PR projects including the Elias Rahbani concert and the launch of Rebecca Bonbon, as well as retainer clients including Ellesmere College and Durham School. With no Account Director or PR Manager appointed, I reported directly to the CEO with PR plans, Business Development leads and other PR related jobs including press releases, pitches, coverage reports and account reviews. I was also responsible for developing and implementing a new PR structure, sourcing essential resources and developing stronger media relations for the wide scope of industries we catered for.

I started as a Junior PR Executive at Aziza Communications, assisting my seniors with daily PR and social media activities and revising translated content. I also supervised the Admin and Junior PR Executive roles and assisted with the training of new senior staff. After pitching a marketing and re-branding plan to the CEO, I was appointed for a part time position where I created, managed and coordinated the company’s PR and Marketing strategies and plans for the year. I worked alongside a graphic designer to help create the company’s new brand and develop an international branding manual for their global distributors.
