Provide prompt emergency treatment to injured and sick employees and students.
• Keeps an accurate and concise assessment form for students and employees (e.g.
allergies and medications)
• Organize and keep the school treatment room clean.
• Oversee unwell students and employees and offer appropriate referral.
Areas Assigned: Obstetric Ward, Operating Room, Delivery Room, Emergency Room,
Medical-Surgical Department and Out-patient Department.
Responsibilities:
• took patients’ vital signs, weight and height as part of assessment, monitoring and
evaluation of patient’s wellbeing
• provided medications and injections as prescribed by the doctor
• preparation for medical procedures including gathering necessary equipment and
organizing patient charts
• referred to the physician any changes in patient's status or untoward reaction
• monitored and recorded urine and stool output
• assisted doctors during treatment
• provided general nursing care to all patients
• taught patient and family about prevention of diseases and the accurate
management as part of continuity of care at home basis.
Cases handled:
• managing patients with respiratory difficulties mainly due to current disease process
• taking care of patients with gastrointestinal problems
• maintaining optimum well-being of chronically ill patients
• promote physical wellness of post-operative patients
Performed miscellaneous tasks such as responding to customers’ orders, organizing
stocks in their appropriate placement and calculated daily cash sales.
