Inchcape Shipping Services LLC is a multi-national shipping services company having its head quarters in UK and a global presence in over 65 countries. Joined as Accounts Assistant in July 2006 and the nature of assignments handled among other things, includes:
• Monthly Management Reports: Preparation of Month end reports, Review of monthly P/L and submission of the same to management with comments on variances.
• Demonstrated excellence in reviewing and submitting monthly P&L for 14 crew boats and explanations for variations
• Assisting Vice President Middle East India & Africa with (Capex) Capital budget workings for new launch requirements.
• Assisting the Financial Controller in yearly Budgeting process and compiling budget pack for Marine Services.
• Participated in internal and external financial/ISO audit requirements and liaised with Auditors for Statutory Audit of Books of Accounts.
• Negotiating with insurance brokers for yearly renewal of H&M & P&I insurances and additional war risk cover if any in consultation with Operations
• Finalization of Vessel Disbursement accounts: Generation of FDA'S for 13 ports of Dubai and Northern Emirates within the stipulated KPI's and maintained DA ageing days of 9.36.
• Review on checklist of various voyage accounts submitted by Operations on a daily basis.
• Good Interpretations on various Principal /CLS /Hub tariffs and application towards the same at the time of closure of vessel accounts.
• Specialized in closure of long standing voyage accounts with huge debits in accurate and timely manner.
• Submission of FDA's in the prescribed format as instructed by Principals at the time of finalization. (For more than 10 DA formats in place)
• Close follow -up with various vendors for timely receipt of third party invoices.
• Credit Control /Debtor handling: Generation and submission of Statement of Accounts to Principal, Timely follow-up for funds.
• Monitoring On-line banking - transactions of funds towards Pre-funding/Settlements and processing of the same on a daily basis.
• Successful in resolving Customer queries/issues towards timely settlement of Debtors.
• Weekly submission of Cash Forecasts and kept close track of daily cash requirements.
• Resolved customer queries for early settlement of debtors.
• Launch costing: Initially entrusted with the task of Launch Costing for all offshore trips and Billing of Launch invoices on daily basis.
• Preparation of Launch offshore reports and submission of the same on monthly basis.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS AT ISS: • Year 2007: Recipient of Staff Innovator Award - Marine Services Dubai and Northern Emirates ( Unique distinction of being the first finance staff to take over Launch Costing from Operations and also provided training to fellow finance colleagues)
• Year 2009: Recipient of ISS Middle East and India Awards of Excellence for the Best team of the Year.
• Year 2009: Was promoted as Accountant and handling of centralized accounting for key principals.
• Year 2010: Nominated from ISS Middle East and India region to visit Inchcape Shipping services UK Office to assist in clearing back log/accumulation of FDA's for Maersk Tankers Global Hub Accounts.
• Year 2013: Promoted as Accounts Supervisor and took control over Launch Finance Department of Marine Services Division and discharging duties till date
