Current: Rivoli Group, Brand Manager
I currently handle a portfolio of luxury/mid segment brands namely Gucci, Bremont, Certina, Hamilton and Mido
Prior to this handled the fashion portfolio of key brands at the Rivoli Group which included Timex, Nautica, CAT, Obaku, TW Steel, Reebok and Martian.
My major responsibilities include but not restricted to:
Principal Management and Brand Management
• Constant communication with the brand principals on sales and marketing strategies, and responsible for setting and executing mutually beneficial brand goals across markets for the entire portfolio of brands.
• Periodic review of import commitments against sales, market performance and brand evolution
• Continuous review of customer base, target audience and current trends, and how best to modify the product assortment to reach them
• Maximizing sales by ensuring that the right product assortment is made available through effective forecasting, distribution and buying patterns and supporting it with an effective marketing campaign
• Responsible for effectively utilizing the allocated marketing budget, and includes liaising with agencies to conceptualize and roll out ATL brand campaigns, while also being responsible for all BTL activities internally
• Follow and develop OTB buying plans based on sales data, while monitoring inventory turnover and taking corrective measures where required
• Periodic Price analysis based on SRP to ensure the brand is competitively priced compared to home markets and other competing markets
• Launching new brands within the Rivoli Group Network, from initial buying and assortment planning to strategic placement within the retail network to ensure brand visibility and maximize its sales potential
Inventory Management
• Managing inventory for 100+ shops in the UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar across all channels. This includes stock replenishment, availability of bestsellers and maintaining ideal stock levels. Also done for wholesale accounts and travel retail business.
• Analysis and review of location wise performance to adapt inventory levels and assortment for optimum stock turns
• Maintaining healthy inventory by ensuring that aged stock is phased out through effective planning of buying, stock management, sales promotions and staff incentives
Retail Operations
• Part of the team involved in setting up budgets for the fiscal year for all our shops across the GCC
• Currently, manage 3 mono brand Timex kiosks in UAE
• Ensuring that the staff are motivated and determined to maximize sales
• Training provided to retail staff on new brand launches, existing brands, product information training, and done periodically to ensure they are constantly updated and well equipped with their brand and product knowledge
• Regular market visits to ensure maximum retail hygiene
Brand Executive - Omega & Rado
• Assisted the brand manager with the highest turnover portfolio of the group and key responsible areas include brand management and inventory management in this high value business segment.
• Took extensive care of the 7 mono brand Omega Boutiques and 3 mono brand Rado boutiques amongst other 50+ points of Sale across UAE, Qatar and Oman
• Conceptualize and implement stocking pattern for the various POS, based on customer segmentation, store categorization and sell-out
