Design responsibilities:
Responsible to Prepare electrical design documents & drawings for projects starting from concept stage, schematic, detailed design, tendering, IFC as per client & local authorities requirements (ADDC, DEWA, Etisalat, DCD & ADCD). • Attending client's meetings and giving presentations for the design documents ensuring that all concerns are addressed and approvals are obtained. • Preparation of specifications, reports, space requirements, LDN, BOQ, work schedule and load study. • Lighting system & lux calculations. • Power systems including, small power, load schedules, SLD, voltage drop calculations, short circuit calculations. • Earthing & lightning protection systems • Familiar with Estidama requirements for the credits related to electrical design systems. • Fire alarm, voice evacuation & emergency lighting system. • Telecom systems & structured cabling systems, active components and schematics diagram. • Security systems...
Cost Estimation, Design, Post tender working & Co-ordination for the same with site
Which Includes following responsibilities
Estimating the Job (All Electrical System & ELV Systems) and arriving a competitive price by using Excel/Macros and taking into consideration of all aspects in terms of technical & commercial front as well interfacing with other departments E for M.
Estimated the Design & Built jobs by doing design analysis to meet the design requirements of Clients as per the local Regulations & Standards.
Doing Value Engineering Studies and preparing VE offer based on Client’s budget constraints for any specific projects.
Scrutiny of tender documents to understand Scope of work, commercial &Technical Criteria.
Evaluating tender documents, drawings, & schedules.
Raising Technical & Commercial RFI's to Client / Main Contractors.
Preparation of work schedule, Costing templates & Comparative statements.
Identifyng the risk of tenders
Floating enquiries in the Market & making arrangement for documents to be supplied.
Maintaining good relationship and doing Effective Follow-up with suppliers.
Interaction with Client/ Main Contractor Regarding the project status.
Making comparison tables for various items by reviewing the offer submitted by Suppliers and Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product
Maintaining ISO documentation, Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records.
Attending project meetings with Client, Consultants and Main contractors.
Preparation of MEP summaries, Preliminaries, and final offer.
Assisting in compiling Technical & Commercial tender Submission.
Budget preparation during post award stage.
Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as well project specific questionnaires.
Maintaining strong relationships with vendors, sub contractors and partners
Giving full support to engineering and project team.

Job profile: Quantity surveying-MEP
- Preparation of Bill of Quantity (BOQ) based on tender drawing & Specification includes all works.
- Preparation of take of quantity from construction drawing.
- Coordination of the review of draft tender documents to ensure all systems and components of the tenders are included.
- Knowledge in initial review of projects, condition of contract, contract documents, specification and design drawing.
- Preparation of tender documentation queries to consultants/clients to confirm and collect any missing data.
- Attend technical meetings with contractor and weekly progress meeting if required by construction manager.
- Ensure full coordination between all other disciplines/Trades has been carried out for all external and internal MEP services.
- Preparation of Cost Estimation for MEP Works (Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical) and Pricing, Rate Buildup of Materials, Labor, Plants and other misc.
- Invite the Quotation from Sub Contractor/Supplier, Negotiation and Comparison, ability to prepare pre contract & tender activity.
- Maintenance and update of Approved Sub Contractor/Supplier database.
- Corresponding with Consultants/Authorities regarding the specification/technical and BOQ any difference to tender requirements and raise queries for clarification.
- Coordination with planning, procurement, finance and administration cell for necessary documents required for the submission.
- Preparation of tender pre-qualification item, List of Sub Contractor/Supplier, Cash Flow Chart, Machinery
