Responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling the movement of systems/builds to live
and test environment. Additionally performing Software Test Management along with
Release Management for all banking systems to deliver new and enhanced IT
services/systems required by the business, while protecting the integrity of existing
services/systems by ensuring that only qualified changes are migrated in production in
coordination with ITD Support teams, vendors and all UNB group divisions and subsidiaries.
Test Management
o To oversee and manage the testing activities performed by the testers, in-house
and outsourced, with specific focus on:
Quality assurance in all delivered changes for testing
Adherence to ISPS policy in terms of secured test environment
Continuous improvement on the quality of testing
Manage and measure performance and delivery against work plans, and
take corrective action where necessary.
Drive continuous Testing and Release process improvements.
Reporting to the progress and status updates to the immediate superior.
Release Management
o To manage and adherence to Release Management process, with primary
emphasis on:
Release scope
Release portfolio
Effective and efficient implementation of all software releases
Traceability of UAT signoffs and test results in the Release Migration
locations
Availability of Release plan
Release approval for scheduling and communicating releases
* With relevant and vast experience of administering Testing and Release in the following:
o Cards Management System (PRIME, ONLINE and Fraud Guard)
o ATM Switch (OPEN2 & Postilion)
o Card Personalization System (Way4)
o Understanding of ISO 8583 transactions processing protocol
o Understanding the Issuing and Acquiring processing
o Cards life cycle including the back office processing
o Certifications and testing with payment schemes (UAE Central Bank, VISA,
MasterCard & Union Pay International)
o Hands on experience on VISA, MasterCard, UAESWITCH and ATM simulators
o Smart Cards (Magnetic Stripe and CHIP/EMV and Contactless)
o Transactions life cycle and processing through ATM and POS
o T24 Core banking (Browser/Backend process, Patch/Pack deployment in Unix
environment)
o Preparation of Test Plan including the test scenarios and test cases as per
industry best practices
o Functional/Performance/Regression/Sanity testing thru Manual or Automated
process

Complete knowledge of Prepaid Card Transaction flow from Acquirers to Processors.
